the ANC is not ANCing.. I've had Ear 2 in the past and I was disappointed with the ANC, a few days ago I bought the newest Ear promised with 1.8x better ANC... I can't find any difference lol..

False. On "This is Tech Today"s video the differences in ANC are OBVIOUS between ear 2 and ear.

@@kae2678 my ears don't think so.. some of the in ear buds can be really good at blocking noise from the outside and these are just not good at it, it rolls of the lows but mids and highs stay nearly untouched and the next gen is not different

Received my Nothing Ear today, and I gotta say.. The ANC is dreadful, really disappointed with the earbuds. Using these on the train was really irritating, I could hear people talking a few seats over just as well as I could hear the podcast in my ears. May look at returning them and buying something better

For me it’s better than AirPods Pro last month I lost one of my AirPod so I brought nothing ear which is half the price trust me it’s way better than AirPods in sound quality and ANC but I accept transparency mode is better in AirPods and Spatial Audio is advantage Note: 80% songs doesn’t work in spatial audio

@@DEEPAKRAJ-lo7ln Really? I've tried my gf's AirPods and I though they ware way better for ANC. ANC is Nothing Ear is terrible outdoors, little bit of wind and they ANC turns off and on constantly, really annoying

@@Cludo_ have you tweaked the sound settings and tried it with just noise cancelling and not the one that flickers around to different settings? Also make sure you did the bud fit test it helps make sure the noise cancelling can turn on. I haven't had any issues with my noise cancelling and find it just right below my old Samsung Galaxy pro buds.

I've got these last week and I find the ANC isn't that bad, i've read that they have worse ANC, therefore I was really surprised after trying it out, if it's as a car passenger even with its radio on or on the lawn mower, with ANC and some own music I can barely notice that there is something around me, but it doesn't bother me, the ANC (and sound and battery lifetime) is far better than on my Sony WF-1000XM3 I used before. And the sound on these is gorgeous with just some little modifications in the parametric EQ.

As far as I know, yes. EDIT: Well, Nothing phones only, but not just the (2) - the (2a), and (1) will get support too (if they haven’t already).

I bought them last week for 7k inr ,,sound quality is awesome..i find out anc is disappointment 😅, battery average not bad not so good 😊 case will pick up scratchs easily its like u wont even know how,😢i recommend using a case ...i gotta say the nothing x app is op,plus the personal sound profile ❤ ,,loving it killer looks , attention seeker 😊 all good ,with anc turned on i cant still hear the sound of celling fan.but with music on its fine ..

Is there anyone who have problem like me? My ear(a) right side is sometimes feel like blocking sound and it becomes lower volume than left side. Sometimes it turns to normal condition. I don't know what is happening? Should I go to the service?

I found out I had impacted wax in my left ear which resulted in just barely noticeable difference in volume and clarity. Not the answer you were seeking but definitely something to consider. You can clean out your ears at home with some hydrogen peroxide which melts the wax down and you can just flush it out over the sink. They also sell over counter ear drops for the same effect.

If I am on a call and talking through phone The audio is shifting to ear case as soon as the case is opened even though the buds are in the case. I think it is a bug because it has in ear detection feature so my concern is simple the sound should come only when the buds are not in the case and only when we put them in our ears. So fast pairing is good but the thing it should be connected to the case not to the earbuds. Suppose you are in other room and talking to someone through a phone and someone just lift the tws and open the case then you will not get sound form phone and the audio is shifted to case. And it's a privacy problem also. If you are getting my point please inform to the brand about this issue. Because Apple earpods have this feature which is good in ear detection

Its not a bug its a thing with many buds i currently use redmi huds 5 pro and when i open the case the audio shifts to the buds same with the poco buds pro (genshin impact edition). So i feel like the airpods feature you are talking about is possibly just on airpods or maybe other brands but for the ones i have used the audio automatically switches to the buds upon opening the case

@@crimean-g2c ilove the sound quality of soundcore but equaliser and audio codecs in nothing make soundcore bye bye .for the money sound core is worth and anc and battery is best in soundcore but the size of soundcore buds is quite big and it was uncomfortable it was not the ear tip it was the plasticy bumbed part which is irritating to my ear the nothing ear is good for comfort i assure . plus you don't get that alive sound quality of soundcore in nothing until you know how to tune equaliser

Their naming is pissing me off. Isn't this video about the Nothing 2s?? When I look up nothing 2 on their site its the big square case. When I look up nothing 2024 it's the small pill case. On Amazon the big square case (nothing 2? but you say 2024) is $146. The small pill case is $99? Their freaking site calls them "Ear(a)" and "Ear" now. Ear is $149. Having to deal with this stupid naming trash makes me not even want to buy this brand.

Ok I figured it out. Ear has more sound quality featuers like ceramic driver and is the square $149 case. a is the newer one with better battery life

100% sounds miles better than airpods pro 2 when you tweak the equalizer to the target sound. If you really care about transparency and noise cancelling airpods pro 2 still better

I mean they look better imo, have similar battery life, very decent transparency and anc, much better sound with a high-res codec which airpods pro don't have, better microphone quality (cleaner voice) and most importantly a great app with many options to customise. For $150 or less now it's a steal.
