This man has been given the gift of healing. I don’t even know if people are aware of the enormously profound experience that is occurring to them. The reason why people are “able to sleep” after, or even as, they listen to him is that they are being healed. Physically, emotionally, and most importantly, spiritually. His voice seems to glow through the darkness with a warm, mystical light that restores the listener, and with the healing power only God can give. I listen to every word of this man with a sense of awe and wonder; a child listening to the comforting words of a wise and much beloved relative. John, if you are reading this, I want you to know that I believe that Our Lord works through you, and that your videos are helping me through a very difficult time in my life. For that, you have my deepest admiration and most sincere gratitude. With love in Christ, Seth.

Here you go : **John Butler:** "Bob, it’s such a pleasure to meet you. Your calm presence reminds me of the peace one can find in the stillness of nature. When I watch you paint, it’s like watching a meditation in motion." **Bob Ross:** "Well, thank you, John. I’ve always believed that painting is a way to quiet the mind. Just like in nature, when you’re sitting by a stream or under a tree, you learn to appreciate the little things. It’s all about finding that quiet space inside, isn’t it?" **John Butler:** "Indeed. In my own experience, silence is where we truly discover ourselves. It’s where we can connect with the divine presence within all things. When I see you work, it seems you too have found that connection through art. There’s a deep stillness that emanates from your paintings, even though they’re full of life." **Bob Ross:** "That's a beautiful way to put it. I like to think of painting as a conversation with nature. You don’t force anything, you just let it speak to you. Sometimes a happy little tree pops up where you didn’t expect it, and you just go with the flow. That’s when the magic happens, when you let go of control and just let things be." **John Butler:** "Yes, letting go of control... it’s such a key part of the spiritual journey. We spend so much of our lives trying to control things, when really, the most profound experiences come from surrendering to the present moment. It’s in that surrender that we find peace." **Bob Ross:** "That’s true. You know, a lot of people tell me that they’re afraid of making mistakes, but I always say there are no mistakes, just happy accidents. That’s kind of like life, isn’t it? Sometimes the things we don’t plan turn out to be the most beautiful." **John Butler:** "Exactly, Bob. In life, as in art, when we stop resisting and start embracing what is, we see that everything has its place. The so-called ‘mistakes’ are often opportunities for deeper understanding. It’s all part of the greater picture we can’t always see from our limited perspective." **Bob Ross:** "Right. And when you step back and look at the whole painting-or life-you see how it all fits together, how the light and the shadows make it what it is. It’s all perfect in its own way." **John Butler:** "Yes, Bob. Perfection isn’t in the flawless, but in the whole, in the acceptance of both light and shadow, as you say. I believe that’s where true peace lies, in embracing everything as it is, without judgment." **Bob Ross:** "Couldn’t agree more, John. Life, like a painting, is better when we stop worrying about the outcome and just enjoy the process. After all, the joy is in the journey, not the destination." **John Butler:** "Indeed, my friend. In that journey, we find not only ourselves, but the divine essence in everything around us. And that, in itself, is the greatest art of all." --- This conversation blends John Butler's deep spiritual insights with Bob Ross' calm and gentle approach to life and art, centering on themes of peace, surrender, and the beauty of the present moment.

The concepts I've heard John discuss are very tangental to Buddhism, especially in this video. It's cool to see someone arrive to the same conclusions that Eastern spirituality/philosophy does, but from a different perspective. Can anyone reading this tell me if John ever directly references Buddhism? I've taken time away from John's videos and return to them every so often, so please forgive the ignorance in my inquiry.

Please tap (twice) my thumbnail photo (left) to enlarge it. In 2014 I happened to be passing through the village where my late mother had once lived. I decided to stop and walk down by the riverside and say a prayer for her love and life. Right at the very end of my prayer, the sun came shining through the trees and seemed to be pulsating. I felt prompted to take a photograph of it, which I did. Later looking at the photograph, I noticed in the top left corner, red and blue rays, a pure white form(soul?) and a round orb. I zoomed in on the orb and immediately recognised the face of a young lady smiling back at me. The smiling face is that of my mother I recognised her smile. The face in the orb is at a slight angle. (Hope you are able to see it?).
