Hi Chris mate, theres an air solenoid valve behind the dash that controls the air supply to the stop diaphragm valve on the pump. Moisture gets in these and makes them dicky. Most cummins installations used a electric solenoid operated stop valve on the pump but Leyland for some reason used a more complicated air set up.

We used to have the Scammell S26 Grab wagons in the Royal Engineers . Ten Ton Tilt with a Hydrema 806 on the back then you better be hitting that Rev range spot on when navigating round a B road in Ulster . Took a bit of getting used to but once you mastered the changes it was a solid work horse. We had off road tyres and could lock all 3 Axles on the bumpy stuff. My oppo once backed a loaded trailer onto the bonnet of an armoured Saphire Cossie which was parked up behind us on a hard standing in an unlit temporary car park in Newton Hamilton. He thought the ground was soft so engaged the axle locks before realising the back end was now about 3 feet in the air 😬 It was a lights out scenario in a dodgy area you see and the Cossie being Maroon with blacked out windows simply disappeared in the dark. That was an expensive night for both the Lance Cpl and the Tax Payer.

Fantastic video as always mate!!! What a beast!! A proper truck!! I had the privilege of driving an Eaton twin splitter many years ago. I had a 1996 Daf 8w tipper (Ex-RMC) They don’t call it the gearbox of a thousand neutrals for nothing, but once you were used to it, wow what a gearbox!!! As quick as you could bunnyhop the gears they’d engage, amazing box!! I imagine that truck flies with a 14 litre cummings paired with a twin splitter 🚛💨💨💨 Joe should charge to let people visit his collection, he’d make a bloody fortune!! 🤑🤣 ERF’s are my favourite trucks!! I’d love to buy one & do a full restoration 🙏 All the best to you & all the family mate 🙏 Woooo woooo 🤠

Can't beat a Bahco adjustable. Anyone who says they are just a hack's tool has probably only used chineseum ones bought from the Sunday market tool stall ! I've got a 300mm Stanley that I keep next to my milling machine, Tutankhamen's jaw is probably tighter and the bloody jaw screw runs backwards to a Bahco, I've nearly launched it across the shop a few times, but it just about does for the arbor on the mill and sometimes functions as a hammer too.😂
