Live on Hullabaloo TV Show, 1965. Unlike other versions of this video on KZbin, this version has the studio track (In Sync) without the canned audience foley or the television intro.

Man I’m a 62 yr old black guy livin in Baltimore’s hood, but I can listen to these songs before I ever listen to rap music. These 60s pop groups made some beautiful music. Just a beautiful atmosphere around all these 60s songs.

I'm across the river in Alexandria. I totally agree with you. You close your eyes, and you are somewhere else. "Time of the Season " isn't just a song. It's a mood.. It's a moment. It's a feeling. It's an era. It transports you to a whole other world. I hear it, and I'm swaying to the music, moving my hips and my arms slowly with my eyes closed. I'm drifting away to someplace beautiful overlooking the water.

My social studies teacher is 63, super nice guy, never gives homework and gives minimal tests. He always starts the class by playing old fashioned music from when he was a kid, then sings and plays the tambourine. He played this today and I had to hear it again. He was born in 1961, the same year the school he works at was built. He always joked about seeing if he could outlast the school. The school is being torn down this year, he wins.

Yes, Back in the Sixties, Many groups had a distinct sound that was all their own, instantly recognizable and thrilling. The Zombies had that very cool, jazz/rock vibe to their sound and lyrics that worked so well together. One gets such a powerful sense of this seductive but mysterious , incomprehensible Woman... Well, Let me tell you 'bout the way she looked, the way she act, the color of her hair, Her voice was soft and cool, her eyes were clear and bright... But She's Not There... WOW... Amazing!!!

Ii agree with you, oughten oughten. I turn 75 next week and am so grateful I grew up in this musical era. I saw Colin in New Hampshire at the Pavilion in Gilford. He was part of Hippie Fest. When he came out on stage, he got a standing ovation before he even opened his mouth. It was electrifying! He looked bewildered and surprised to get such a response. It’s one of my favorite memories. @@flynn8969 No Flynn - it was NOT an organ. It was a Hohner Pianet, an early electric piano. Most keyboard players in the sixties and seventies used either a Fender Rhodes or a Wurlitzer electric piano, sometimes along with a Hammond, a Farfisa or a Vox organ...but Rod definitely used the Hohner on this song. It's a totally different sound. I've been a pro keyboard player since this song came out and I've used pretty much every major keyboard at one time or another. The actual instruments used on most hit records are well documented. You can look it up if you like.
