I still haven't watched Mr Robot, but I've been doing this for the last 2 years on a 15-minute delay, using a MI Band. I have a Tasker profile set up to do a different vibration pattern at each quarter of the hour. I find it useful to get me out of ruts and remind me of what i' m supposed to be doing. I might try this on a smaller delay now, thanks!

@@esquedm MI Band Tools has a Tasker plugin that I use. I had to create 4 separate profiles for each 15-minute interval, that run hourly.

Have you watched it yet? I just finished it today. It's my new favorite show of all time. I'm gonna watch it again from the beginning.

The more conscious about time the less you will spend on screens, this makes perfect sense, I experiment it myself in my life. Amazing experiment :)

It would be very interesting to see this on a larger scale study

I would like to suggest a different explanation for the cause of longer time perception of a minute when you're constantly notified ever minute. Under such condition(notified ever minute), we are likely to precieve more details compare to our normal status, thus our cognition adjust the perception of time to match the information that we're getting.

How can I find a watch that can do that?
@NI-jq1eg Жыл бұрын
You can use a digital clock with a timer function. Casio has a model with that function, for example ws100h, also the countdown has a repeat mode :) is a suggestion

I had good results doing this for a year. The interval however, was 1 HOUR. I had good but different results at 30 minute intervals. Trying again at 15 minute intervals, diminishing returns, closer to your results.
