But recurring tasks should require a template. It's still sort of kludgy.

It is a bit, yeah. I can see why they did it from an engineering perspective, but it's not the most intuitive way. Easier to improve than build from scratch though!

Yeah I got mine running repeating tasks by integrating "Task DB for Pipedream". But I got distracted trying to build out other parts so I stopped using it.
