You understand that it’s barking at the wrong tree? SNL and Lorne didn’t want to fire Shane. Even Bowen from the cast is friendly with him. That’s why they had him host now. He is nowhere near SNL host famous, they could have gotten Hollywood A-list if they wanted. But they wanted Shane because they never wanted to fire him. The entire firing saga is with the office side. Just like Norm. Everyone at SNL knew they were good and wanted to support them, but the office side paperpushers basically shut it down, saying “either he goes, or he and you all go”
