Freeman's seat MUST be hot!!!! Best defense since 2012, QB & coordinators he wanted, easiest slate in a decade. Yet he's still losing the games you'd hand pick on the calendar for your "tune up" games... I'm so sick of our fans trying to defend the program like it's worth a SINGLE FUCK.. Don't talk about history or tradtions, when they haven't meant shit to anyone outside of Indiana in 35 years. ND charges $300 for tickets, $200 for hoodies in the bookstore, $82k for one year of undergraduate tuition, and is currently paying millions of dollars to coaches and NIL payments - just to spit in our faces every year. Fans & anyone with ties to the university should be UNBELIEVABLY pissed off. Rightfully so. We’re so much of a joke, that “big game Brian” dumped us at midnight before prom. Can we tell Riley Leonard he sucks? Absolutely. When you play for the largest brand in college sports, get paid money while also getting a free education, then proceed to crap the bed - the fans have EVERY RIGHT to roast you. Welcome to real life. He needs that Bible study to guide him towards a LinkedIn profile, because he’s not a QB anymore.

Was not surprised at all by the loss to NIU, this is what they are and have been for decades. They have not been a true nation power since 1993. There are a few FCS teams that could win in South Bend.

@@willforan5836 The most shocking thing about the NIU loss, or Marshall, or South Florida, or Navy, or Stanford, is that Irish fans are “shocked” by these losses. Holtz had the last era of legitimate national prominence, it is what it is. Even in recent years If they ended up through luck or a soft schedule in a big time game, how did those play out?? I have been a fan since 1988 but this whole fake aura around ND football is so strange.

@donnix1192 I have been a fan since 1970. And you are spot on it changed in 1996 when holts left. The reason holts left was because the University told him that he wasn't bringing in the right kind of guy A. Nd God bless all these kids. I hope they all do well but the right kind of guy for Notre Dame is not going to win. A national championship. I honestly look at their players in games like Saturday. And they are not bigger or faster than these other teams. They are not superior they do have a sprinkling avelite talent, a handful of guys. That's why when they get against teams that have elite players all over the field they don't do well

@@willforan5836 You got it 100% right, Holtz was bringing in the the athletes needed to create a football factory-a team that could beat the Miamis, The Florida States, The Michigans, etc. The higher ups didn’t want that-they wanted the kind of players who met high academic standards-and that was the end of ND as a true power.

I don’t understand why Notre Dame fans Are shocked by these losses. They have not been a legitimate national power since 1993. There has been a few years with soft schedules, a little bit of luck and smoke and mirrors, but they have not been anywhere near elite in decades. Yet you hear Notre Dame fans talk about how shocked they were surprised they are by the losses to Marshall, niu, south Florida etc. There are two or three FCS teams that could win in South Bend.
