In the original DuckTales, Ma Beagle had seven sons, named Burger, Bouncer, Babyface, Bigtime, Baggy, Bankjob, and Bugle. The Beagle Boys have been around for a really long time- if Disney needs a villain for Mickey, Donald, or Goofy to fight and don’t want to use Pete, they usually turn to these guys. In the comics their family has a very, VERY long history with Scrooge in particular

So the whole arc of Webby in this show is her trying to find the places among the rest of the main cast. In a way, that's what all the kids in this show try to do, but with her it is extra apparent. So it's really nice that in the very 1st ep that touched this conflict we've already reached the point that Webby should stay herself and shouldn't try to fit the mold. Beakly is actually a biologically engineered super solider (think Captain America) who's secretly training Webby to become her replacement once she gets older (and able to safely take the serum that gives/unlocks her powers) so she can be ready to take down Launchpad (who's actually an amnesiac super-spy, who's responsible for 'getting rid of' Webby's parents).

Here we go with our next adventure in Duckburg! Much like the pilot, this episode was a lot of fun to watch, as it helps develop some of the characters more, like Webby and Ms. Beakley, and provides some great character interactions that are bound to lead to some funny laughs. I loved your reactions throughout the episode, especially when Beakley revealed herself to be a spy. Also, I've got a feeling you'll keep calling Scrooge McScrooge and Beakley Mal. Those were funny slip-ups.

I am crossing my fingers hoping that you're watching this on a platform that has the episodes in their exact order and not what Disney Plus did to the order. There are solid story arcs complete with a set time line that place is DuckTales has the direct influence for shows that came after it such as Gravity Falls, Amphibia and The Owl House. Plus episode 4 is both a tribute to a very popular 1970s movie and the intro to a fan favorite character of the series.
