This looks really useful It makes me wish there was a similar vid for the launchpad pro mk3. I've been looking everywhere for some basic tutorials for it with FL studio but they're rare and the button arrangement on it is not the same as the one you're using

Hi, as of now the launchpad mini mk3 does not have any direct integration with FL studio and can only send notes and CC messages. However, if you let us know what exactly you are trying to accomplish with your launchpad there may be ways to manually program it.

I had Launchpad Mini for my B-day... FL studio. Got it running, playing patternt, samples, everything good with LEDs BUT i have no idea how to switch pages\modes using Launchpad Mini hardware buttons. There are horizontal 1-8 row and vertical A-H row, and none of them seem to work exept A-H row lightening up during a Perfomance Mode session and 5 lighting up at the same time. Other than that... can't switch to anything, pressing buttons in different order - nothing. No action, no lights on 1-8 row (exept 5). To my knowlege this row is specificaly made for switching pages (as i've seen it in all the YT videos). I've tried to find option for that in FL but no avail. So there's no option to switch pages on Mini model? Maybe mine is broken? Maybe it's just a limitation of a mini model? TBH i never wanted to ask Novation directly and i was lurking around all the forums and message board for weeks now but nobody knows or even encountered my problem. I really think like i'm alone here. Thanks anyway. It felt good to let it out of my system.

@@NovationTV The thing is that mode switching buttons not even lighting up. First four (1,2,3,4) works in Ableton fine. Also bootloader access (by holding buttons 5,6,7and 8 or something) not working. So it makes me think that my model is just... broken. It was not new when i bought it so maybe it's all just second hand usage problems. Thank anyway, guys!

Seems like launchpad mini mk3 is not supposed to work like this ... I have tried with the drum machine in FL20 but it's mapped to different pads instead of the 16th pads as in the vedio. Any suggestions to map manually? Thank you

@@NovationTV YES connected as it mentioned. The launchpad is working fine. but the keys are not in certain order. For a example if i use FPC in FL20 the very first pad maps to the Kickdrum which is second in FPC. Not in the correct order. any solution to map correctly??

I have the same problem. When i press a key, a different one lights up and plays instead. It's wildly out of wack. Is there a way to hard reset a Launchpad Pro?

Eureka!!!! I just figured it out how to resolve the issue. We can map relevant keys to relevant sounds in FPC. It's super easy process. U can use ' MAP NOTE FOR ENTIRE BANK' option in FL to achieve it.

i recently purchased the MK3 but im having trouble setting it up with FL studio. midi only works when i have the controller type set to "generic controller" . And when i go to record something im playing on the Launchpad pro Mk3, the record button gets stuck on the DAW and turns on and off repetitively not allowing the playback or it constantly tries to record and hitting "stop" doesnt work. i have to close the whole program.

Yes, that's possible. Scale Mode is a feature that can accessed when be using Launchpad Pro, standalone without a computer, connected to external hardware as well as with any DAW.

On my launchpad pro the light layouts wont come one but the device works and plays notes. I am using fl12 its best on fl20 in terms of compatibility? Thanks

How are you hoping to use Launchpad with FL Studio? Launchpad is primarily a controller for Ableton Live. The pads provide tactile control of Ableton Live's Clips and Scenes. When working with other DAWs, such as FL Studio, Launchpad can be used to play and control plug-in instruments but won't provide control over other parameters of the software, unless manually mapped to do so.

@@NovationTV i wanted to use it to play chopped samples in fruity slicer, play drum sounds and play vst instruments. When i installed the drivers for the device i then followed your video on how to set up in midi settings and it did light up the pads and cicle to other layouts but now it doesnt show thoses layouts on the pads but i can play sound on the pads. Should i reinstall Fl studio?

Sorry you're having problems with that. If you're using a Windows PC, the ports might be labelled slightly differently. Live Port should be visible as Port 1. Port 2 is the Standalone Port and Port 3 is the MIDI Port. In your case, '3-Launchpad Pro' may be the Live Port.
