The last time I rode a Zipper, I found if I closed my eyes and relaxed back against the seat, I actually felt like I was getting rocked to sleep. I even enjoyed it a second time by myself in the cage. It was so nice!

ngl this happened to me once at a carnival when i was 8 or 9, it was one of those big octopus spinny rides and i was like oh cool....yeah, in 30 seconds i was screaming in terror. it felt like it lasted an hour, i never went on another ride in my whole life, lol

Yeah. I have no idea why in the world a parent would take their child on a ride like the zipper ride. My mom talked me into going on the Matterhorn ride at Disney. I was 11. I kept saying no. She was so insistant that I had no choice. It was not fun. But she loved it. The only other time I talked to her that day was when I wanted to order lunch. Yes, I do remember that day and never forgot it. No roller coaster for this lady.

I forced my daughter to ride a looping roller coaster at Carowinds when she got about an inch above the required height. I got the looks from others when she kept telling me she was afraid. As soon as it stopped, she was begging to go again and since we were there during the week, we rode it 25-30 times. If she didn't want to do it again then I wouldn't make her.

8:30 My younger sister fell out of one of these. She wasn't buckled in well or was too young (we were maybe 4 and 8) and unbuckled herself. She fell out when we were upside down way up in the air. Thankfully the cage's pin held out long enough for me to reach her (she'd fallen into the 'ceiling' of the cage) and hold her close while we both screamed at them to stop the ride. No one seemed to notice. So we went for multiple loops with only my lap seatbelt (not a harness in those days) holding me in while I held on to her. And in contrast to the loving parents who were worried about their kids, mine just shrugged it off, too distracted talking to other adults. The operator looked bored and shrugged it off as well. The midwest in the 80s.

All the bouncy houses have instructions to pin them to the ground and use rope with pins in the ground. And switchtracks are having checks before and after the switch track so if it would go wrong the switchtrack wouldnt switch and it brakes the car.

My husband went on a weekend parachuting course in Australia. His parachute failed, then the auxiliary one, but he managed to untangle it, he heard someone shouting "Legs together" and managed to avoid some obstacles before ending up with a black and blue backside.

Scariest ride I've ever been on was the Rock-O-Plane. Look it up. Yeah. Not very scary. However, I was quite young. The ride itself was not scary. The problem was that I could not understand what I was seeing out the front of cab. It just didn't make any sense and it terrified me. I was riding with my sister. She was pretty pissed because I would not stop screaming. The ride operator stopped the ride and made us get off. She's eight years my senior. Oh, and I love scary rides. The worse; the better.
