I love the late Rowena Morrell covers for McCammon and Piers Anthony. Reading a middle grade holiday novel called THE LAST HOLIDAY CONCERT by Andrew Clements I found in a Little Free Library with Brom's KRAMPUS: THE YULE LORD on deck. Have the last of my library books on my desk DRACULA'S CHILD by J.S. Barnes. While I am going to try not to spend so much money on books (at least until the Festival of Books), there are a lot of series that I started that I want to finish such as the last of the Matthew Corbett books and Threadlight. I have a person goal to find a cozy fantasy that I love. To that end, I plan on picking up Diamanti's Guard in the Garden. I really enjoyed Stone and Sky. I am also hoping to find a romantacy that I can get past the third chapter of. And I'm hoping to buckle down and write another novel, since I haven't written a novel in over a decade.

@@AndrewsWizardlyReads Yes. All of the covers she did were beautiful. My first adult book I bought was Stinger by Robert McCammon, and her cover was a big part of it.

My November haul was: - Time of the Ghost -Diana Wynne Jones - Paperinik New Adventures volume 1: Shadows on Venus (Italian sci-fi adventure comic that was Disney Italy's attempt into a marvel superhero story from the late 90's. I loved this but never had the very first volume) - Basara volume 2-5 (a fantasy story set in a post-apocalypse Japan with a child of destiny trope where the main character is the chosen one's twin sister) - Banana Fish volume 1 (already loved the anime and slowly collecting the manga to reread it) - The Coffee Trader by David Liss (historical fiction mystery thriller set in the 17th century Amsterdam) - Journey of the Swamp Baron & The Peasant Kings Journey (Unto the End of Aretz series) by Christina E. Ebbesen

So reading 40% less doesn't correlate to buying 40% less? Or is this a mad dash before that takes effect in the new year? Am trying to do the read what I own but Warlord might break that attempt next year as well if some trilogies get completed.

My November Haul: The final two novels in Mary Gentle’s «The Book of Ash» series (90s Alt-History Military Fiction), «The Wild Machines» & «Lost Burgundy», as well as a Hardback Edition of Tolkien’s «The Fall of Numenor», Matthew Harffy’s «Forest of Foes» (Historical Fiction set in Anglo Saxon Britain), «The Lion & the Sword» by Roberta Cray (90s Fantasy inspired by Alexander the Great’s Conquest of Greece: Something of a hidden gem going by the few, but very enthusiastic reviews I found of it, anyway, I just saw that glorious cover by the lauded Tolkien Illustrator John Howe, and just had to have it!😄) and «The Women of Troy» by Pat Barker (retelling of the aftermath of the Iliad from the perspective of Briseis, the «War Bride» of Achilles)! Cheers Andrew, Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays! 😊
