Dude that food is lit! Serbia is a food and nature paradise. Hope you'll get to see some rural areas. It's beautiful. My recommendation is Danube, Golubac Fortress and Iron Gates around 60 miles west of Belgrade. Central and southern Serbia are pretty cool too. Uvac national park, Tara mountain, Kopaonik. If you'd rather go north do not miss the cities Subotica and Sombor ;)

The beer that you like would look like "Zaječarsko" in Latin alphabet and is thus pronounced (ZAH-YE-CHAR-SKOH): Зa, ZAH ('a' is ALWAYS pronounced as a short sound 'u' in 'but') je, YE ('j' is ALWAYS pronounced as a 'y' in YEllow, NEVER 'j' in 'jar' or 'jug') чaр, CHAR (as 'char' in CHARcoal). Again there's that shor 'u' sound from the word 'but'), and Cyrillic 'р' = Lattin 'r' сko, SKOH (as 'sko' in SKOrt or SCOrn). The letter 'o' is always short as in 'not'. So, (Cyrillic) з, З = (Lattin) z, Z; ч = č; р = r; с = s. In Serbian, the pronunciation of the letters never depends on the position in a word and on the following letter, and a certain letter is always pronounced the same way, no matter where it is. Once you learn all the letters, reading becomes much easier than in the English language, in which one letter can be pronounced many different ways. Have fun in Novi Sad! It's an amazing city.
