The 281 288 both had that heavy duty spring in the front
@coreycorp70482 жыл бұрын
You’re 281 is a 1987 model, the coils are not limited but the carb is governed and there easy to un govern. There should be a throttle stop on the intake block that the throttle arm hits when the carb it bolted up. And the saw on Tool Time sure looks like a 3120 to me .

The 200 series 80cc saw started with the 181se. There are technically 4 saws on that chassis if you include the 288xp lite as it's own model.

That front antivibe mount is to help stiffen the saw up. 288xp without that mount can be a bit of a loose noodle

Saw in the show is a 3120 You can see in the photos you posted the full wraps on a 394 is NOT the same the factory wrap handle on the 94 is very round and connects right at the top. The wrap bar in the show sits down further and more square shape. Like a 3120 full wrap. Also. Can you just tell the physical size of the saw. It’s most certainly a 3120

Thanks Pat! Nice work on your channel as well. You've really been posting a lot lately. Oh, and you keep misspelling my name. No worries, it's a weird one. Here's how my momma explained it to me, and maybe it will help you to remember: "Well, I just figured...Bo sounds like Joe, and that's spelled with a J-O-E...so, that's what I did. I spelled it B-O-E...and then I just added the D-Y at the end. Boedy. Worked didn' it!?" This is literally how she explained it to me when I asked, no joke.

288xp front mount seems like a bandaid to me. Long bars wreak havoc on a big saw, so Husky slaps an extra doohickey to stiffen things. I leave it on mine mostly for the conversation starter.
