He proposed after third day , we were married in a month , not to mention the huge geographical distance and cultural differences however when God is doing it , everything is possible. It’s been 14 years now, we have 4 princesses and we live in the Uk 😊🙏🌈

Matthew 7:24-27 has nothing to do with marriage. It has to do with building your life on the rock of obedience to Jesus's teachings. If you read the preceding verses (21-23), you can see that Jesus is talking about the fruits of salvation. "Not everyone who calls me 'Lord, Lord' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." Jesus says that He will then tell those who have lived a disobedient lifestyle, and thus shown themselves to not be truly saved, that He never knew them and for them to depart from Him. When we do not build our lives on the rock of obedience to Jesus and His commandments, we set ourselves up for a great fall, not only in the storms of this life, but also in the storm of God's judgement after this life ends. I'm not saying that Christians are saved by their works; we are saved by faith, but faith without works is dead, and faith always shows itself in a continual growing in obedience to God (but never reaching perfection in this life). When we claim to have faith but our lifestyle is a lifestyle devoid of repentance and obedience, then we are just fooling ourselves, and we don't really have faith in Christ at all. I feel like your idea that this passage has to do with marriage, when it is instead talking about a lifestyle of obedience to God and the fruits of salvation, shows how much marriage is idolized today. I am certainly guilty of this kind of thinking myself -- wanting God's gifts more than God Himself. But I know that it is wrong, and I want to change my mindset and way of thinking, and desire God more than anything else. I don't believe that God cares very much about people having "successful marriages." I think that there are a lot of people that God allows to be in unhappy and unsuccessful marriages so that they will learn to love Him and rely on Him more than they love and rely on anything else. The primary relationship that God cares about is our relationship to Him. I think that He is more interested in our obedience and our love towards Him and towards the people around us than in us having gifts in this life that, as good as they are, pale in comparison to having the Giver Himself.

I have a hard time with God’s timing. I know I’m supposed to be in Cobb County. I always find a job and no place to live or a place to live and no job. My dream guy also knows he’s supposed to be in Cobb County. Him and I both have a heart ❤️ for special needs kids. Dillon and I were both part of FCA. Dillion and I originally met at a fitness event in Atlanta Saturday January 6, 2018. God told me August 10, 2019 that Dillon is my future husband. Dillon has been dating females for six months breaking up and then two years later he dates someone else for six months and then they break up. I don’t understand why Dillon is doing this. This is why I don’t understand God’s timing. I’m going to be 26 in July of this year. All my friends got married at 18 and all had kids by age 22. I’m starting to feel like I’m running out of time to have kids. Dillon and I want the same things. This is why I don’t understand God’s timing.

Thank you for sharing. I met my boyfriend on the last day I was going to be on a dating site. Saying goodbye and good luck to many men around the country, he saw my profile and asked me out for coffee. After seeing he was looking for a woman who serves God, I replied with a yes. Wow. Earlier today I took my kids to the pool at our apartment and one of the men there approached me and asked for my number. And I gave it to him knowing that he wasn’t the man for me. And when I got up to my apartment, I felt so convicted. Even though I haven’t met the man God has for me, I felt convicted like, “you know he is not your husband. Be faithful and wait on me”. This is a beautiful love story! I felt the Holy Spirit while watching this and was so encouraged. I am 51 and never married before. God told me He is bringing my wife soon. I am waiting on Him. It will be of the Spirit like you and Adam. I call it the Kingdom Narrative as He is the author and finisher of our faith. They are kingdom marriages for what is coming. This video came up this morning in my feed and for whatever reason I clicked on it. What a divine appt. At the same time as this was playing in the background, God took me to a page of an old journal. As you were speaking about Kingdom marriages, I was reading in my journal this "Union-Unity- the bringing together of 2 in union who have a co-vision and co-assignment both in right relationship and proper positioning independently and interdependently.'" Thank-you for sharing your story so that God could use it today to remind me of the promise, purpose, and divine assignment He has for me and my kingdom spouse.

I really hope that you read this... I have been struggling for years with trusting in God's plan for me. I have tried to convince myself and others that I am trusting him, but it has been a battle and recently my actions have proved to me that I am not truly trusting him unconditionally. I went on a run today and I was crying out to God that He would help me to be patient, because he knows the way I have been struggling. I don't want to settle just because I am not patient enough, I want His perfect will for me. It is awesome that this video randomly popped up on my youtube. I’ve become to grow impatient with being single and started to look for love in guys with something else. And I’ve began to fall backwards and I’ve been trying so hard to get back to where mine and gods relationship was before evil took over my mind. I know what he’s doing now when I seen this video pop up and I really think he was trying to talk to me through this saying he has someone amazing waiting for me. I really think God prepares us and our future spouse for the right time. But God wants our heart for Himself, before we give it to someone else. Just focus on God first, then He will do the rest. But waiting can be hard. Just get back on track for God and ask His help to be patient and wait upon Him.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful story, which so edifies the Lord and encourages others. I walked a similar path, only I believed and waited on God 25 years for His choice of husband for me. After that very long and trying preparation time, God brought me the man of my dreams -- a soulmate husband and perfect match. We had 20 euphoric years of marriage and ministry before he tragically died (about four years ago). I am again believing the Lord for another soulmate husband.

I used to call God the universe or Spirit and believed all spirituality and religions led to the same thing, and that the Bible was based on ancient people using psychedelics. I don't have time to write out all the reasons I no longer believe this but many people have put a lot of time into debunking this.

What caught me most is the verse "be stil and know that I am God". I'm 25 now and I'm praying for at least 5 years now but he always closed doors before I could ask a person. To wait can be hard but I believe it's worth it. It seems that he's at work at the moment. I want to figure out whether it's still time to wait or tim to take the next step. Before me and my parents don't match (dad does, mum not yet) what I believe God showed me by prayer, I continue waiting and see God preparing me, her and the circumstances.

Hi Sarah, so awhile back when I was 13 I met this boy name Ryan and he was 12, we were Friends for a long time, now I’m 17, we wouldn’t talk that much but a year ago he asked me to be his girlfriend, and ever since then I feel like everything is changing for me we help each other out and read devotions together. We are both going to a Christian private school, and we have God in the center of our relationship, And we both have boundaries set. I hope to marry him when we grow older, it’s all up to God.
