I definitely do depend my confidence on my looks and circumstances, I constantly get compliments and I always am afraid that if someone says something bad about me I'll crumble because I'm used to being approved/validated because of my looks. It's hard to try and shift that mindset that it's really all about God's praises, it's really hard to see myself the way He does, but as a person, who I am not my looks.

This message was so important for me. I have been dealing with a lot of fear concerning my fiancé. We are in long distance while we are trying to apply for a visa for him to come get married and live in my country. The process is very complicated and stressful and I think that lately fear has been growing in me about when we will be together again and doubts that creep in. I know these fears are coming from the enemy, because my fiancé is the most wonderful man I have ever met and he has encouraged me through my walk with Christ. I have been praying for peace and hope to replace my fears for the future and any prayers during this time would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for this message 💕💕

I get really scared sometimes that God will make me go through experiences that really scare me as a way of growing me and helping me trust Him more... Being single for 10+ more years, extreme sickness alone, losing my loved ones. Is this something He does? Or is this the devil trying to get to me?

Hi! I don’t believe God does this, if you’re feeling afraid or paranoid I would say that’s the enemy because God won’t bring that kind of fear on you. He does allow some things to happen because it says we will experience trouble in this world but I don’t believe he causes it - and he also uses what the enemy means for evil for our good in our lives!💕🙏

The last couple of days I have started doubting whether to take a break from my studies and do something completely different for a while. I want to help those who need it the most, and God has really prepared the way for me, and led me to where I am right now. But the last couple of days I have seriously doubted whether I'm strong enough for this very overwhelming and emotionally demanding career path. Thank you for your encouragements! 🦁😄 hey there Sarah, Really enjoyed listening to you speaking on this video.I don’t remember reading the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe, but I am having a wardrobe delivered today! LOL But I also would encourage you to watch some of the Lion King videos as well. I love the music from those videos, and I will check out the lion, the witch and the wardrobe and read it for myself. Though I have read some more of a CS Lewis books. Your sentiment was not lost on me. You and Adam will make great parents, and I really do believe that your children will be great blessings to you and your family, and bring you much joy and happiness. I also believe that the Lord is going to use your children in the kingdom for his purposes and plans, and that they are already being set aside for the Lord. Hi Sarah, I have just separated from my boyfriend as I felt I could not marry him. Twice in my ĺife I have booked a wedding and felt that both occasions I could not do it as I felt scared. I now realise that the Lord Jesus was protecting me from an ungodly marraige on these two separate occasions. My hearts desire is to serve our amazing God with a wonderful Christian husband, where we can grow and help people come to know our wonderful saviour. The enemy will try and twist our thoughts to feel real from past experiences. A very important point you made, Thank you! I am waiting on the Lord and trusting Him for only my future husband.

I love what you said about not missing out by saying 'NO!' to distractions and instead spending time with the Lord. It's so, so true- He is a rewarder of them that seek Him out, and those that honour Him, He will honour! _Nothing_ we give up for Jesus will ever cause regret. The devil will do anything to keep us from the presence of God and is very successful at making us feel intense FOMO, and making time with the Lord seem like a 'sacrifice'. It should never feel that way 👑 (I know that 'should' is a bad word, & just want to clarify that for me, despite my ♥️ bursting with love for Him, running to Jesus without hindrance is still a huge challenge for me, and I always seem to be putting other things before Him 😔 In His grace He's teaching me to tear myself away from those things- the things which fade away into nothingness. When we spend time with God we secure for ourselves treasure which will never be taken from us 🙌) The Holy Spirit gave me one verse repeatedly throughout this video, in response to a lot of what you said (and particularly whenever the words 'feel like' or 'feeling' came up): "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make straight your paths" ~Proverbs 3.5-6 Feelings are not to be relied upon; they ebb and they flow, but our God remains the same, and His love is changeless. I need to learn to speak truth over every doubt, every lie, every anxiety that comes in to my life- "I need Thee every hour, most gracious Lord". When we trust in our feelings and not in what God says, things deteriorate rapidly. But simply _acknowledging_ God in every circumstance, no matter how far away He may seem, brings in divine wisdom and peace to overcome! "I find joy in every day, Not because life is always good But because God is".

The funny thing is right before I opened KZbin I said “God I need you to speak through somebody to me” and that was literally like one of the first sentences you said 🤣 But the last one resonated with me. God has been showing me who my husband is and calling me to marriage. As I am a single mother I began to start thinking I don’t have room in my heart to love another person and that I can’t serve a man if I’m trying to serve God and my son.. But you just confirmed that that isn’t true and so I thank you for sharing. Like I always say it’s one thing for God to suggest something to you but it’s another thing for you to actually step up and do what he says. Keep it up 🥰

Another great video! As far as for the confidence, I've always thought of it as because of God's love for me I am able to be confident in my social group, appearance and circumstances. Of course people shouldn't first be confident in just their looks, social groups, media and outside sources, but I find that I pray to God and I'm grateful that due to his love for me I am able to be confident in my looks. I am able to be confident with the people around me. I am confident in my situation, etc. I think that that's another way to look at it too. Not to glorify those specific things but be grateful for the small blessings.
