You guys clearly aren't elite athletes (no offence). But one game "like that" when you're supposed to be the last resort, the best on your team, can really mess with you. Especially in your formative years. How you emerge from that depends on your mentality, your team and the adults around you. Also please pause when you talk. Unless you're fluent in Japanese, each line really matters!

Lol no offense taken. We said it in episode 1 but we have almost zero knowledge of sports. Thanks for the insight on that tho! We can def see now how badly that would affect him (plus we later found out what game that was and it made even more sense). Also thanks for the feedback! We don’t often pause since we’re still able to read the subs while talking, unless the discussion is a little longer. It’s just how we’ve always watched anime together, but we’ll keep it in mind :)

Sorry but neither of us have much experience with sports to know how much a single game can affect a player (so of course we wouldn’t know how it feels unfortunately). But we’re learning that now through this anime and that’s the best part 😌
