What’s funny is that garlic was long well known in Ireland for centuries but regarded as something to augment livestock diets, and not for human consumption.

Anna is always flawless in this sketch (and so many others)! She strikes just the right amount of deadpan-enthusiasm and angst-filled joy that few can sustain so long. Most of her sidekicks either 'break' or are a little too happy. Rachel get it just about right, must be a tough balance to pull off.

I agree. Ana must've come up with this idea. The way her hand moves on and around the book at 4:03 shows she's acting with her Entire body. Great execution. I've been watching these in a series and when Rachel came on instead of Molly I was pleasantly suprised. The chemistry is a bit different but still Delicious. Then when Gandalf came I was like Heath Ledger's Joker. "And here we... Go..." Great cast. Great sketch. Thank God for KZbin. No wonder so many people don't watch regular TV anymore. I can't stand commercials. Even here I've got an Ad Blocker. Because I don't want to be distracted from the Writing and Performances of something like this. Hilarious :)

Cabbage hahaha, bicarbonate soda, bangers and mash, Irish stew, roasts, corned beef, fish and chips on Fridays and Ash Wednesday and black and white pudding served with bacon sausages, fried eggs and dripping toast. A classically trained theatrical actress and director lady friend of mine did a lot of radio advertising voice work on the side as well. When she went to public radio to begin advertising her theaters plays, the producer told her she was doing it wrong. So he explained how to speak NPR...Very slow, very dignified...even if your speaking about your latest comedy. Which is funny in itself, as these skits make clear:)
