They must have big preseason, but unlike Melbourne can't see the season out. Because they're old? I don't know how Melbourne can save some for late in the year, while Parra burn out, after brutal preseasons. There is no way they beat Brisbane, zero chance. They need speed, they're backs are too slow to compete with good sides. I'm a Bulldogs supporter, and the Bulldogs will towel Parramatta up the next time they play. Parra won't get near their fast backs, Xerri, AddoCarr etc

my idea for the kickoff is: you can't gang tackle the player running the ball back. the individual defender that does make the tackle is allowed to be offside by up to 10 m. once the ball has been passed twice after kick off this rule no longer applies

If you get rid of yhe kick off, then you need to get rid of 40-20 and 20-40's as that encourages long kicks and long returns. You also will need to ban drop outs, and kicks in general plays, along with kicks when you get a penalty as an opposition player can catch the ball and run it back. Dont get rid of the kick-off. Youll lead to getting rid of the foot in footy.
