The MAMA 2017 were a sad time for EXO and EXO-Ls because the awards are mainly fan voted and for that year EXO were the leads for the five categories they were nominated on. We as EXO-Ls were so happy when the voting period ended because we "knew" EXO were going to win the 5 categories they were nominated for so we were celebrating in Twitter before the show even started. However, MAMA were of course super unfair, like they always are, and gave their awards to other artists except for one which was Album of the Year. Not only that but they changed EXO's performance turn and even shorten their time at the last minute. Also that year in the MAMA the EXO-Ls were mistreated by the MAMA's guards, from being pushed to getting their EXO light sticks taken away so EXO couldn't have their light ocean when they perform. Since that year EXO has boycotted the MAMAs because they know that if they go their fans will go for them and they don't want them to get hurt. (EXO-Ls if I got anything wrong or forgot anything please put it in the comments)

I have to say after everything EXO has been through they deserve to be where they are. I used to be one of those idiots that said they're only popular because they're from sm. I couldn't have been more dumb. After I "accidentally" listen to call me baby I decided to give them another chance because I didn't like their music at first, and I'm happy I did. Call me baby is still my favorite EXO song, but boy do they have some amazing music. It's funny how the songs I hated are now the songs I listen to the most. After I learned more about their history, what they've been through, how they were treated, the injuries, and how they were overworked, my heart shattered into a million pieces. No one deserves to be treated like that, and viewed only as a source of money which is technically all sm cares about. Exo has been through a hell of a lot, and worked their asses off to be where they are. I dare someone to say that they don't deserve the the title of number one boy group in Korea, I fcking dare you. Hate comes from jealousy, and EXO has a lot things for people to be jealous of. Also sm better know that this one comeback a year shit ain't cutting it. I understand that members are enlisting now, but damn it's cruel to make us wait a whole year. Give the people what they want!

I think stanning EXO was the best decision in my life for sure. Because I just love how they demonstrate their love for us, EXO-Ls AND how their bond are strong. Ofc, other idols do that too, but at least for ME, EXO is another level. And that's because of their path that they had, "Having only a few fans in the beginning" & "Losing members&fans" & "All the mistreatment/unfairness" That's why they show how they feel grateful to us and they have THAT strong bond. On MAMA 2017, EXO and EXO-Ls were mistreated. The fans were pushed by the staff and getting injured. A multiple awards were robbed even though EXO have met all of the criteria. Example EXO got 11 millions of live votes but the group who got 8 millions of votes won. EXO and EXO-Ls cried so hard on that night because of the mistreatment that they got. Taemin SHINee and Super Junior have to consoled EXO that night. Lee Seungi also said openly during his speech that EXO were crying at backstage. Super Junior Leeteuk also asked on instagram, what is their function attended the MAMA 2017 because they were also mistreated by the staff even though they're the most senior/legend group that night. After MAMA 2017, EXO rarely attend award show. Last night, on their concert, Kai said that they don't care about awards anymore, they don't want any EXO-Ls got mistreated again so they rather spend time with EXO-Ls than attend award show. The entertainment industries and SM try to bring EXO down so bad. A lot of chart manipulation against EXO on 2016-2019 happened. SM also give a bare minimum of promotion to EXO (last best promotion that EXO got on 2016) and now EXO-Ls are the one who promoted EXO everywhere (Example. EXO-Ls made EXO advertisements on Burj Khalifa without any big entertainment company help). Usually, kpop groups will take apart of multiple variety shows during comeback period as a part of group promotion but EXO just appeared in 2-3 or 0 variety show and 3 music appearance as a promotion. In fact, a lot of variety show producer said that EXO can't make appearance in varitey show because SM rejected all of the invitations. SM also rejected EXO billboard invitations. Obviously, SM gave EXO bare minimum promotion compare to their other artists even though EXO is the biggest money maker of SM for years already. Recently, Suho also show his disappointment in SM because of the mistreatment issues.

I hope after this you guys could check out EXO live stages from their concerts.(EXO'luxion, EXO'rdium, Elyxion, Exploration,etc.) . You know EXO are known with their superpowers concept. They even used their superpowers as part of their performance. For ex: Suho who control water create a water perf. & Baekhyun who incharge the lights control the lighting of the stage. All of this you can recognize it in one of their concerts (EXO'rdium#3). What you want for a concert all worth it. They have acoustic, lightsabers battle,club session, dance breaks,musical etc.Their stage presence is also insanely incredible. Thanks to EXO who also taking part gor contribute some ideas. I highly recommend you to react to one of their concert stage to find out how incredibly talented they are. You know they're not playing for giving the best stages. Daesang is like a Grammy award in Korea. But since after 2017, those music awards lost their credibility. Writers and producers admitted and get caught that they've manipulated the results of those awarding shows. Not just 1 music awards show but almost all of them. Why? Because of the fact that for 5-6 consecutive years Exo have always been the winner of Daesangs. They manipulated the votes, hurt Exo-ls and used Exo for clout. That's why SM didn't allow their artist attend such award shows like MAMA and also the reason why some Koreans kpop fans don't care anymore about voting and music awards. After 2017, music awards shows only have atleast 2% rating in broadcast.

TAO was the one who would do the flips. He did it once for a performance, with a bad fever. Also, both Kai and Lay have/had serious waist injuries. Kai had to have surgery ( Luhan on a variety show was supposed to kick him in the butt as a "punishment"). Luhan did kick him quite gently. The hosts kind of got on to him for that, but he said he didn't want to hurt Kai. ( Luhan was one of the most caring and protective members 🥺). Lay needed surgery for his waist, but his mom didn't want him to. Lay has Hemophilia, and probably wouldn't have survived the surgery, so he still suffers from severe pain and has to have treatment regularly. Honestly, he will have it for the rest of his life.

The double, triple, quadruple, quintuple, etc. million seller means that each album they have released have sold over a million copies. Since EX'ACT was their 3rd album and it surpassed one million copies sold, that's when they became triple million sellers. Then quadruple with The War and quintuple with Don't Mess Up My Tempo. Oh, lol, you figure it out later in the video, haha! Sooooo... Have I explained STATION, yet? I don't know. But here we go: SM does this thing called STATION, where they release collaborations and unofficial solos that are usually not on any main release. It's a one-off song and SM does not promote these songs most of the time except by releasing it with a music video. Collaborations can be between idols in the same group, different groups, and with an idol or idols that are not under SM. Most are between two idols, but there are some with more than two and a good number of solo songs. Most likely if an SM idol has not had an official solo debut, a solo song will be released as a STATION track. OH, and sometimes a STATION collab is with an international artist. I'll give a handful of examples, with details, so you get what I mean: •Young by Baekhyun and Loco- Baekhyun of EXO (SM) and Loco is a solo rapper under AOMG. •We Young by Sehun and Chanyeol- both from EXO (SM). •Wow Thing by Seulgi, SinB, Chungha, and Soyeon- Seulgi is a member of Red Velvet (SM), SinB is a member of GFriend (Source Music), Chungha is a solo artist (MNH), and Soyeon is a member of (G)-Idle (Cube). •Young by Xiumin and Mark- Xiumin of EXO and Mark is a member of NCT, both are under SM. •Written In The Stars by Wendy and John Legend- Wendy is a member of Red Velvet (SM) and I don't think I need to tell who John Legend is. •Long Flight by Taeyong- Taeyong is a member of NCT (SM) and has not had an official debut. •Take You Home by Baekhyun- Baekhyun of EXO (SM) and this was released before he officially debuted as a solo artist. Xiumin released You under STATION when he went into the military and D.O. released That's Okay under STATION when he went into the military. With STATION and OST releases it can look like they have many solo releases, but only Lay, Chen, and Baekhyun so far have officially debuted as solo artists. A lot of non-EXO-Ls think we came up with the Nation's Pick nickname, but I'm pretty sure it was the South Korean government. Someone correct me on that if I'm wrong, though! When there are official and political events for South Korea that want/need some sort of entertainment representation or specifically kpop representation for whatever reason, EXO is usually chosen. Honestly, there are events that EXO go to sometimes and I'm like, why exactly are they there? Granted, I'm sure there are other factors that go into all of that.

I don't wanna spread hate. But let me tell that just because they come from a established agency doesn't mean that success was given In hand to them, they had to strive n prove themselves with all happening around with them during all these year. Many other fandom may compare them with other struggles but understand that they didn't have freedom to compose their music, they were not able to showcase their talent, they were not exposed to western or any other region other than asian countries, they were mistreated in every music awards, they were not given proper respect n acknowledgement. Under all these circumstances they strived n proved themselves by rising like a pheonix. Still having their name under top 20 world-wide known boyband. They still spread love , humbleness and k-pop (not just their grp) all around the world. They are slowly able to give out their talent in solos. But still people blame them , and doesn't understand their love n respect for EXOL n as musicians. Many people compare their success with other groups..but understand that even by being in top ent company have many many struggles n pressure. Not being able to have recognisition they deserve n calling them overrated is sick. Every groups had their own trouble but I don't think any group other than GOT 7 have undergone this much disrespect n troubles they had from company. They have undergone so much disrespect, that's why EXOL are so damn protective about them.. Even group have their own trouble.
