Haha. Indeed. I think it was an outtake that was left in. Videotape editing was very limiting in terms of how many frames you could cut out. (I think 8 frames). So it could have been mistakenly left in.

For someone who volunteers at the railway, I kid you not lifting the buckeye is not easy and I can't even bloody lift it! It's all about the technique and you got to practice the manoeuvre or if in doubt, use the bar.

I believe the tightlock coupling was used because it could couple to a buckeye in an emergency. Unfortunately it was apparently sometimes difficult to get them apart again!!!
