They gotta make a remake of this. I still play this game to this day. 33 years on. My highest score was 800 million in 1993. Man I was proud of that. All future cities and not ONE city lost.

He still had someone left alive (represented by the lone tent symbol left on the map). Kind of the dark humoured point the game is making about nuclear conflict - the earth may be a radioactive cinder in space and 99% of the human race is dead, but so long as the surviving 1% belongs to you, you win.

@@fuqupal Really? I can't say i've ever won this game. To be fair when i used to own an Amiga i was like 8 years old, but after it was brought up in a conversation about a week ago i've been playing it online.... i'm older but no better. I watched this video hoping to get some tips but honestly this person plays exactly like I do... he just didn't have everyone gang up on him. The last game I played, I lost a city on turn 1 after 3 people used propaganda on me and it took it all from the same city. Turn 2 my smallest city was destroyed by missile. And then around turn 5 or so, one of my cities just decided to blast off into space. So i'm going to agree with Pete in that this game is way more luck than it is skill.

Nah, there are strategies, like the enemy of your enemy is your friend. Then betray them when it suits you! Also if you build too frequently (i.e. stockpile weapons) all the others will quickly turn against you.
