Sitting here testing out my own Air60, I agree with much of what was said. It definitely sounds deeper right out go the box than other low profile. ONE THING THAT HAS TO BE MENTIONED - The thing that drove me crazy with the F1, but I figured out with the Air 60 was recognizing when caps lock is on. With other boards, they have an LED that lights up at the switch to let you know caps lock is on. Not with the F1, as far as I could find. Also, not with the Ai60 - however the left LED on top of the keyboard can be programmed to show that, so I have mine set that way. It lights up blue-green - cannot figure if there is a way to change the color - but at least having that is SO much better than the F1, which I had actually really liked, despite a lot of quirks.

It's useful so I can put my Phone, Tablet, Documents I need to check or copy, Calendar, etc. So having to separate it form the original position in order to plug an usb because I'm running out of battery is not convenient

Outstanding review, on par with the prior one on Air75! *However*, as a recent Air75 owner I have come to firmly defend the magnetic feet, and I will say why. The traditional folding feet I am always afraid of breaking (I have a Keychron K2 as well). If it breaks, it will be a pain to fix. The magnetic feet are worry free and I love them. The inability to properly carry them in the NuFolio is a real downer, but I can find my way around and live with that.

Great review. 5:29 the usb port is on the side just like the NUPHY NuType F1. I believe that when the F1 was discontinued, the air60 replaced it. The short cable is for when the Air60 is atop the MacBook Pro…you use it to plug the Air60 into the MacBook Pro (or other laptop) in case the battery is low. The long cable is for when plugging the Air60 into a further away port like a desktop pc or wall.

@@CheeseTurbulence another tip for shooting LEDs if you want to convey the color is to turn off the room lights, then play around with the white balance of the camera until the colors in camera look similar to what you see with your eyes. After that light the scene with lights that are about the temperature of the set white balance so the scene looks nice.

I can't say as it didn't work for me, but I would assume that the lighting profile is saved to the board itself. I would expect the gaming mode and actual "user profiles" to be stored to the board as well, I haven't heard of any board that requires a running software to "remember" this. But I might be wrong, I hope NuPhy updates the software soon so I can give it another try.

I haven't had the chance to try out the Air96 yet so I can't tell but from the looks of it its a very capable and good board 🙂 Regarding the switches, I like lineares or tactile, the latter more for typing than gaming. I asked some people and they said it's safe but I'm not satisfied enough with the answer they gave me. Perhaps you can give me a better answer? Anyway, Thanks in advance!
