Nurse delivers her own baby at home

A Polk County mother gave birth to her baby inside her home. It just so happens that's she's a nurse who specializes in these types of situations.

Am I seeing things or is that her husband or partner wondering around as she called the EMT’s. She more than likely had her husband, or partner to help her, which he most likely did. Unfortunately the Video doesn’t show everything that went on between the time she went into labor and the little one was delivered. She definitely was lucky her husband or partner was there to help or call for help if needed. My Mother who was 39 and pregnant with her 8th Child went into labor at home. Thank goodness my Dad was a Police Officer and at home when she went into labor because of my Mom’s age she could have had problems. My youngest Sister was born only 15 minutes after my Mom went into labor. My Sister is 65 years old now. unfortunately my Mom was killed in a Car accident when she was 80 years old. A Car passed another Car on a blind curve and by doing so hit my Mom’s Car and killed her. The other driver was not hurt most likely because he was very, very drunk and just bounced around in his Car. The accident was entirely his fault but my Mom payed for his drinking and driving.

I'm so sorry for your loss, I really do understand I had a cousin who was killed the same way, and he lost his wife, and his child was hurt really bad. May God give you some peace. 🙏🙏
