Lowell didn't keep his "eyes on the road that's ahead of you." I miss him so much. To think that he could have spent the last 34 years making music, like Ry Cooder and John Hyatt has, makes me miss him that much more. "All That You Dream" was the national anthem for any 20-something, growing upduring the seventies, who valued Little Feat as much as anything worth living for. Now that we're old, we look backwards.

TIME: Summer of '75 PLACE: Connecticut River valley. Was hangin' out with a few coworkers and friends late one sunny summer morning smoking a few fat ones, listening to Dixie Chicken, enjoying a sweet "buzz" when suddenly our friend Arthur ,who was quietly reading Rolling Stone magazine said, and I quote, "it says here that Mick Jagger says Little Feat is his current favourite band. We who were all gathered in the living room of our rental house quietly enjoying listening to Feat with a glow collectively looked blankly, feeling altogether perfect, said nothing in response to our good friends news announcement. 😎 That's one of my more memorable moments listening to this GREAT BAND!
