Haven't made it through the whole video yet, but I am a SOG fan and owner for life. I had a Trident clip screw break on me and they sent me the clip and the screw for free. No PoP, no "well did you...?", just plainly no games. I LOVE the knives (my aegis is the best and funnest and mostly loved knife I have ever owned) and their customer service cannot be beat. Thanks so much for going to SHOT Nutn, And thanks for keeping up with all things, including SOG, while you were there.

when i was young i loved knives , got older loved guns, saw nutnfancy sog flash 2 review and now i'm into everything. Tactical nylon, guns, lights, holsters, lbe, knives, thanks for the addiction but can't afford it. love tnp and thanks for going to shot for your viewers,God bless

@TheTacticalTiger So sorry...I did not go to the Spyderco booth this year. I had gone the last two years and the 2011 never really got good number of views so I shined it. I never heard from them either. I'm sure there will be lots of coverage on them though.

Glad they touched on the wood line. I picked one up at the end of summer and it has served me very well as my camp knife. Skinning, chord cutting, food prep and any other tasks it is a great knife. The weight us up there but i like it because it gives the knife a really sturdy feel. Great booth review.

Awesome booth review! Chris did a great job. I'm not big on all of their folding knives, but there's definitely a few that are towards the top of my list. And some of their fixed blades like the Seal Pup Elite seem about perfect size, weight, blade, and price.

NUTNFANCY - the advantage of the sogops over the seal pup elite is that the sheath they have shown on the website can go under your hip when you have your body armor on so it doesn't jam your side plates up but ALSO can ride high on your hip on the second loop so it doesn't hang to far when you're NOT wearing side plates

Lovin' the SOG Ops knife. A retired Navy buddy of mine gave me a Seal Pup for my birthday and I love it. Not as a bushcraft knife but as a dive/utility EDC fixed blade. Not too big, not too small but just right. Seems the Ops is going to fit that niche also, but with a better blade shape/steel and NO serrations. Very sweet.

Awesome! I love my trident, but I sometimes choose to carry a thinner (but heavier) knife because the trident is kinda thick. I'm drooling over those slim-jim knives.

Nutn... I know you have talked several times about NOT doing the SHOT videos as they are so common and so long... I am going to step forward on behalf of the vast majority of your "subs" and tell you PLEASE DON'T SKIP SHOT VIDS!!!! There are a lot of us who do not have the opportunity to come out to these shows and your videos fulfill my cravings for such data overload... You are a solid reviewer (and a goof) and your videos are a great source for those of us who cant first hand it...

I've always liked SOG knives. I even like their Powerlock despite the handle covers and that you have to open it to access the tools. I currently have a Leatherman Wave but I want a Powerlock.

Awesome, those are some sweet knives. I have a Flash ll and a Seal Pup. My dad also has a flash ll and the Seal pup, but he also has a blink as a money clip and a Tomcat 3.0. Although his Flash ll has a round arc lock and mine is square so I don't know.

NUTN. The fast hawk tomahawk is a great tool. I carry it in the trunk of my scout car for a "just in case" emergency. The biggest gripe is with the nylon sheath. The head of the hawk moves a little inside the sheath and in no time it manages to cut through the stitching rendering it junk. See if SOG can make a kydex version that you could somehow wear on your hip. Thanks!

Just my $0.02 on S.O.G. Knives, I'm a steel snob and AUS8 is not that high on my list, but what S.O.G. does with the AUS8 and the Cryo Tempering is pretty good, I have two S.O.G's the Trident 2.0 and the Pup Elite both seem to hold their edge pretty good, although both are designed to be more tactical, I use them when I go into the bush, but my favorite besides my Busse's, I like my Swampies the best, and I also have alot of the knives you review, Thanx Leut. im starting to dig sog trident (regular, black coating, combo-edge). since i'm part time emergency responder, i'd rather have versatile knife...and my kershaw skyline fills my EDC. thing i'm not digging is the S.A.T. feature... i don't mind if it doesn't have assisted, cuz i rather have manual than blade play (albeit adjustable). re-watching nutn's review to see if it's self-defence-useful...
