I've been fasting for almost a year now and had only lost 8 pounds. Seems like I have reached a plateau. Partly because I didn't push it hard enough due to the fact that I'm very conscious of the hormonal changes that come with it. Any suggestion on how to break my weight loss plateau?.

You can add exercise if you dont already do it. At least 5 days a week for 30 minutes, weight and cardio training. Building muscles is good because the more muscle you have, the more calories you will burn. This is why men lose weight easier than women in general because women retain more fat for child bearing.

Fasting is best when treated as a lifestyle, for the duration of a year, you shouldn't have any "push hard" feeling. For my body, it works the best to lose body fat when I do 186 fasting. You may want to add another hour of fasting and see how your body reacts to the changes. Agree with exercising too. Hope this helps!

@@Lucky33x88 Altought loosing 8 pounds might not sound a lot but I'm a small person so 8 pounds of burned fat which I didn't gain back.....not complaining LOL. I will take on your advise to add more hour/hours to it...Thanks
