Plenty of covers of Nutshell emulate the bleakness conveyed by the lyrics and the open guitar strings but never truly capture the jarring and hazy comfort of the bleeding distortion of the lead guitar. You express a feeling of hope and strength with your voice and all of a sudden the essence of this beautiful and tragic song is there in a brand new way. Amazing
