NU-X's Soldano amp model is worth the price of their gear alone. It's so good. Great demo, NU-X is putting out some really great stuff these days. I use an MG-30 for effects and to split my signal out in stereo to two clean amps. Great demo, Shane!

Almost bought it and changed my mind. Very impressed with the internal capabilities, connectivity etc but I know it'll still sound like a small speaker. Like all of these little amps do. For now I just went with a modern headphone amp with the same features and more. Will get a proper larger combo later.

Love your reviews. What do you think about this NU>X 8BT MKII vs something like the Joyo DC-15S battery amp that you also reviewed? I kind of like the idea of an integrated lithium battery that can be charged while playing vs 8 AA rechargeable batteries in the NU>X 8BT MKII. I'm looking for something to replace my little Blackstar 3 Fly which takes 6 batteries which are a pain to recharge. I do think this 8BT sounds great but maybe the Mic jack and controls are wasted space for something else. But I'm trying to get away from tweaking software tones and more of actually playing instead. I mean that is a good feature for endless tones and effects but then it makes me feel like when I used to have the Blackstar ID:Core 20. Also your review if the NU>X 20BT is great too which is a definite contender to the ID:Core 20 V4.

Great video, thanks Shane. I'm torn between this and the Mighty Lite BT Mark II. For home use and occasionally playing guitar with a friend. I'm guessing th 8BT sounds sounds bigger, fuller and louder - but is it a bit too loud for quiet playing at home? Conversely, does the Mighty Lite BT Mark II sound significantly smaller and less 'impressive'? Also, they both are rated for use with bass guitars, yes? I'm guessing, as I play bass, that this will settle the question for me - the bigger amp will handle the bass better. I'd appreciate your thoughts on the sound questions if you get a moment mate. Thanks Shane!
@intheblues Жыл бұрын
This is a louder/bigger sounding amp so for any jamming I would suggest this over the BT Lite II. The BT lite is great for a desk amp but it's not great for jamming situations. You can make this amp work great at lower volumes.

Looper?!?!? Looks like you can use the line out with aux in with an external looper?!?! That would be awesome!! I'm going to pick one of these up. Positive Grid totally screwed up with their Spark/Mini/Go by not including (either in the app, or FX loop) some way to loop properly. How did they think they were addressing the practice amp market, and not include that?!?!
