Agreed, I had to revert using the nvidia installer as nvcleaninstall driver refused to install on win11 24H2

When you install a new driver and press custom installation you can choose a clean install. Isn't this enough for a clean install? Why do they give you this option then?

The regular "clean install" from nvidia is quite bloated. Tons of telemetry gets installed, including Geforce Experience. This gives an option to bypass it and just install the necessary drivers

where did u get the info to leave MPO alone? - like 5 other past guides ive seen told me to disable it - and when i tested a version with and without MPO disabled i couldnt notice anything

its important to enable message signal interrupts to ensure your gpu is working properly without fps drops and hiccups...but i prefer doing so using the msi v3 utility that allows u to check if ur gpu is supporting the feature..but to my knowledge most of the newer vga cards (2013 onwards support it)

How does nvcleanstall interact with the Nvidia App Beta as opposed to GeForce Experience?

Its literally the same thing as downloading a driver from nvidia app but it gives you the ability to customize your driver even more

idk but on laptop it deosnt work good like my gpu is 85 w but when I use nvclean install it limits gpu power to 60w

Crossed the same problem here. Debloating the driver got rid of Dynamic Boost 2.0, which allows your GPU to go up to 85W. I turned back to the normal driver after that.
