VanillaLimeCoke I miss the logo and kelly green colors of the Jets. I have my 96-1997 ' Starter' Neil O Donnell jersey and the Rookie Kyle Brady in 95 when he had #81 . Starter was the shit, all way out espically the jackets ,hats, shirts and the nfl streetcut replica jerseys with the fly ass TV numbers on shoulders of the Jets. Nike jerseys suck dick. Old school all day! 😊

Mike Breen and James Lofton on the call of this game on NBC at 4pm. On August 31st the only nfl season to do that. Warren Moon had an outstanding year making it to his 9th Pro Bowl with 25 Passing Touchdowns 😊. It sucks neither team didn't make it to the playoffs Espically for the Jets and they had a turnaround season with Parcells with Wayne Chrebet Keyshawn Johnson Neil O Donnell healthy Jeff Graham Mo Lewis Marvin Jones Aaron Glenn Adrian Murrell and future Philadelphia Eagles Hugh Douglas 😊. This was a nightmare game for the Seahawks.

This was the earliest start for an NFL season we will probably never see the season start this early ever again or play in the month of August outside of preseason games. I miss the Kingdome Seahawks with these uniforms and the domed atmosphere. Whenever CenturyLink Field's time is up I want the Seahawks to move indoors again or at least put in a retractable roof just something about loud Pacific Northwest fans in a domed atmosphere. Obviously, the Seahawks were terrible in the 90s until Holmgren got there but that dome be rocking hard.

Remember this game like it was yesterday! We were a 14 point underdog going into that game and it was such a great feeling to steamroll the Seahawks the was we did! This game was also played the day after Princess Diana was killed.

I was in preschool when this game aired. Have to admit it's strange to see a game without all the graphics and special effects filling up the screen. They really expected people to count to 10 by themselves lol

Lol...all jokes aside, look at parcells overall record as a head coach with Belichick and without him. Major difference. Belichick was a huge part of Parcells success with the Giants and Jets.
