A few videos back towards the beginning of 2024 I commented that I wanted to move out and live on my own. I’m proud to say that yesterday marked 2 months of me living alone in my studio apartment, you’ve been such an inspiration to me :) obviously this is just a little book channel but your style and your energy and outlook on life is refreshing and well received and gives me confidence that I can be who I am. Love ya ❤

We bought our home 33 years ago for Eight-Two Thousand Dollars. Recently down the street a house that was small sold for $350,000 dollars! From what I have read rent is high in New York City. Around we live we have noticed apartment building being built everywhere. I wonder how much rent folks pay for a small apartment since buying a house cost so much money these days. Carol's parent bought their house back in the late 40's for three thousand dollars (that house is now own by Hope College). I often wonder how people can afford housing these days. Folks must have to work two jobs or just live simply to afford a roof over their heads. Also food costs so much more these days. I liked your small studio apartment, feels cozy. A place of refuge from the chaotic life of New York City. peace
