My young nephew passed from the same cancer. Multiple brain surgeries and chemo extended his life a few years, he only had weeks left at the time of diagnosis. Unfortunately these tumors are very aggressive and usually grow back. I pray they find a cure soon. It's a devastating diagnosis.
@LethalWeap0n92 жыл бұрын
Yeah....some Rumors are very aggressive and so believable that there's nothing you can do to change the narrative. Sometimes they come back, after clearing the air. Besides that, I wanted to debate on what do we think the cause(s) of these unique cancers is/are. It amazes me when I think that objects and things that go into our bodies (whether foods, liquids, vaccines) play a part into this type of deadly illness. It's like, we try to take care of ourselves...but, I believe that nutrition labels are not 100% truthful. They can keep risky ingredients off the label, and we would have no clue.

My husband was diagnosed with glioblastoma January of this year at 30 years old. They gave him 6 months to a year. His tumor was the size of a walnut. They said he would possibly lose his vision, couldnt drive, and couldnt work anymore. He was out of the hospital within 4 days after surgery. He has underwent 11 of the 12 cycles of chemotherapy with the 6 weeks of radiation a month after surgery. So far, no regrowth after 9 months. He has beaten every odd so far, he has made doctors jaws drop, he is 100% my superhero. Im sharing this story for those who are just going through it, are going through it, and have gone through it. My advice with this. Trust in God because this was him. My husbands radial oncologist said this was God. This all started because my husband had a sinus infection that wouldnt clear up. He then got so dizzy he couldnt walk. It took 3 visits from our primary care doctor and his work doctor found it for us. If something feels off, get it checked out. Anyone who deals with this cancer or is going through it with a loved one. Dont feed the cancer. Physically and mentally. Fight for your life that you want to live. ❤

I understand, but... The future eventually is the same for everything living... We also don't know when and how we die. Nobody does.. they said 15 months to me, but I am next July 4(!) Years in. Nobody can see or know what is coming and when. We live now, today... Our past are stories we have experienced and tomorrow doen't exist yet... We can walk under a bus or fall down the stairs etc.. Many die before us, mostly unexpected.. and in a 100 years from now, noone who lives now will be here anymore.. not to make it sad 🙈 but to make it a bit easier. Stay strong and breathe.. as long as we breathe, we live. That.. is life 🌹❣️💋

This is not representative of GBM (stage 4 glioblastoma) for individuals. Everyone is so different. The timelines are different (I’m 2 years and counting). The side effects are different (I have few physical defects). But the common factor is that after all these years, there is no cure irrespective of where the tumour is located. Even so, this death sentence hanging over us does not necessarily mean the end of living a meaningful life. Unfortunately some will succumb quite quickly, but those newly diagnosed need to understand that it isn’t the end until treatment fails, and no one can or should put a timeline on that. The goal is to stay as physically and mentally fit, and to continue to live without fear.

Ask about DCVax-L, a novel glioblastoma cancer vaccine that recently showed in a peer reviewed phase 3 clinical trial statistically significant improvements (the first in DECADES) for both newly diagnosed and recurrent glioblastoma. We are not living in the stone age of chemotherapy and radiotherapy anymore. Best of luck to patients.

Not until approved, then insurance should cover the bulk of it. And they already have an automation process they can implement once demand ramps up. Until then, you can access this via a clinical trial (look to UCLA, I think there are at least 2) where DCVax will be given AT NO COST and the UK Specials Programme. People in the Specials say the upfront cost is $25000 per dose but you should confirm when inquiring.@@sanane39
