The range from Andy's concern for Diane to him being both concern and fed up with Danny showed how much range Andy/Dennis Franz has.

Rick Schroder was so good in this role.

Lots of people hate on him and this character. I actually think Schroder did an excellent job with this role, and that the character was quite interesting. He was just a very sad character.

I always like when the camera pans to the other Detectives reactions as they listen to their colleagues talking or fighting. They did it with Baldwin n Greg a few times in this scene
@anthonyvasquezactor Жыл бұрын
Even though Danny is behaving like a little kid this season, he was at least man enough to take responsibility for his own actions and make sure Greg and Baldwin didn't also take the fall when Fancy was about to reprimand them for blowing the case.

The saddest part of Danny's story/exit/fate is that by the time Andy found out the very understandable and even sympathetic reason Danny fell the fuck apart in Season 8, it was too damn late to help. I won't give explicit spoilers but people who watched NB regularly know what I mean.

Andy lost two partners. Remember that red-headed guy from first season? Another step the writers took to make Sorenson's exit from the show permanent. Schroder must have been relieved to shed this character.
