This is such a good show. Second season 1000% better. I love watching these two cook together - I think Ham's the first person I've seen cook with Sohla who didn't just lean on her to do most of the work, and everything seems so relaxed and fun even with the time limit.

My family used to make a "jello pie" that was basically this trifle but in layered form. There was a kind of sugar cookie/shortbread base, then a layer of jello mixed with cool whip, then a layer of actual lime jello (or maybe reversed, I can't remember). Honestly it wasn't bad! A fresh lime curd would've cut the sweetness a bit, but you kind of can't go wrong with a crunchy thing, a creamy thing, and a...gelatinous thing, lol.
