If you go to NYX's website you can buy single pots of the various contour shades. The pots are under the face category, they run about five dollars. The pallet is a great deal for all the shades (about a $50 value,) but if you just want one shade or run out of a certain shade it's perfect. The pots fit into the pallet as well, and I believe (could be wrong,) there is a larger shade selection on the website for mixing and matching.

I have the Anastasia Beverly Hills contour kit as well as the NYX contour kit, and I love both of them. I enjoy the "banana" shade from the NYX one better, I think its more pigmented and shows up more on my light skin. I really think the NYX one is a great buy for the price, but I agree on them being very pigmented, so I go in with a light hand and build up if needed, to me that is the best way to go about it without getting too much product, and to avoid patchiness. xoxo

+Dilya Zan Honestly would possibly skip with your skin tone (from what I can see with your pic!) you either can get the pan individually for cheaper or get something else! :)

Very helpful video! I'm thinking of just buying the taupe shade of that pallet or the MAC one I've seen from you. I'm not a great fan of contouring so with a bronzer and a taupe color for contouring I'm ok. Thanks for doing this video!

the contour and highlight do have singles. I have medium/tan skin and it's really great on me. Maybe you should just find the exact shade for you and it will work really well.

Great review Emily! I have not been able to find this palette anywhere. ( I am in Kingston Ont, and Nyx selection is not good anywhere it seems). Thanks for saving me from searching more for it! Lol. I have the Kat Von D as well as one of the Marc Jacobs palettes and was going to get this one for my niece....now I won't since she is just beginning to use more then basic makeup. Really enjoying your channel!

Cathy Conners I would say get her separated products like the NYX Blush in taupe, Elf blush in pinktastic (highlighter) and NYC bronzer - she would used them more and they wouldn't be patchy on her skin :)

The only reason I would get this would be to use it as a quick face and eye palette when you're traveling. Since I wear those shades more so traveling it'd be easier to just have just one palette and done. Thanks for your review! :)

BeautifulMoonshine Depending on what concealer I'm using - some I don't set as I find they tend to cake up on my dry skin if set, others I used the banana shade from the Anastasia Contour kit :)

Amelia R I wouldn't get this one - either get separate shades like NYX blush in taupe, elf baked blush in Pinktastic, etc. Anastasia is also great :)

I would peffer to buy the Anastasia countour kit or Hourglass Kat Von D for me a contour kit it would take a lot of time to go thru one so I would prefer to buy for 15dllrs more a better quality... I do love nyx it has so many good products but the countour kit is a little chalky for my taste

Emma nuelle Non maudit il ne livre pas directement au Canada il faut utiliser une compagnie de "fowarding" et c'est pas donner. Dans mon cas ça n'a pas été trop pire puisque j'ai créer un compte (ce qui donne 25% de rabais pour le premier achat) sur NYX et puisque ce n'était pas une petite commande c'est revenu au même quand j'ai payé pour le shipping!Merci :)
