Only problem I can see is Eddie treating getting dropped like a death sentence, which is weird when he calls subs "finishers". Can't fault the lads effort, Eddie just needs to pick more on form in games not favouritism and effort in training.

From an Irish perspective, the unity in the camp seems really strong. Loved watching the drills with Eddie and Genge, the later who seems to be growing in confidence every game and is a real star of the future. Great group mindset when results don't go their way. Can really feel Jonny Wilkinson's nuanced approach to rugby and life filtering through. Here's to many more high octane encounters in the not too distant future. Thanks for the access again, a great insight into professional rugby.

I know that it’s a difficult concept for players and coaches (and media) to get their head around when the whole purpose of their being is to win, BUT ...as a huge fan of England rugby I don’t care in the least that we didn’t win. Sure every match I had butterflies and was a bit fed up for half an hour after the final whistle when we lost but to us it’s really not the tragedy which media and a few crazy fans make out. Honestly, England rugby you’re in a great position. If you lose, it really doesn’t matter. If you win, know that people like me (the majority of normal fans) walk around with a huge grin for days. Most importantly enjoy what you do.

There’s so much hate going on atm, every team has a blip and goes through a dodgy period. There seems to be a lack of understanding towards that. They played some good and bad rugby, a refresh has to happen to the team. But don’t start calling for heads to role when you can clearly see by these past two series how professional and detailed the preparation has been from everyone involved in the team

I think some of the hate and desire for personnel changes in both coaching and players comes from exactly what you said yourself... There has been very professional and detailed preparation yet we're still losing 🤷🏻‍♂️. In each episode EJ says they had a good week but the results are not good. Can you see the disconnect there? Also like any media or self made documentary it needs to be taken with a pinch of salt, we're shown what they want to show us in Next Level & the other nations don't have equivalent media so we can't compare. Therefore, our preparation can look super slick, professional and detailed but we have no datum for comparison.

It is apparent that rugby training is centred about playing for a specific match against specific opposition. That showed itself as to how the English played against New Zealand in the semi final. The wheels have obviously fallen off. A good rugby team of clever thinking players should be able to adapt as situations and conditions change, and indeed be in control of actually changing the game to suit them. I seriously believe that that is the sign of a great team, who actually know what they’re doing. Playing the ref is another art in itself. In the mean time please learn to play a thinking on your feet type of game, that way the opposition cannot develop their counter to your game plan, as it is so open. I’m aware that that is a big proposal, but those in the higher levels of team management are paid to construct things such as this. I am available for hire. Ha ha!

Love these videos to feel a bit closer to the team. However, I can't help but cringe at some of the stuff that's shown. (boxing video case in point) There's a lot of talking themselves up and buzz words but not alot of that shown on the pitch. If the performances had been better I'd probably not feel the need to comment lol

Honesty honesty honesty..... but we’ll keep picking sub form players. The few new players must be dismayed at the quality of play from England’s senior players. Where’s the honesty, they think they can stay at sarries and play for England- time to be honest with yourselves and fans. More honesty props need to be able to scrummage above all else. Marler is the best prop currently. Jones needs a dose of reality, drop your captain pick players in form Allow others to force their way in. Too many operating without fear of loosing their England chance.

Just shows you if you have the state of art stuff in your training comp doesn’t mean your going to be better you need that drive that you want to do well at the end in the changing room just look at sinckler’s face no passion at all plus this six nations was horrible for England as they thought they would just walk in and take it everything is there on a plate for rugby players now it’s not what it used to be Eddie mate you need to change some players around quick ford who is he did he even play can’t remember didn’t hear him at all the players have got to want it and you don’t see that with most of the England lads now we are a top team we showed that in the World Cup let’s get back to that I know the lads have got it in them you can see it when they train they just need to put the intensity on the pitch

I think we are a great team and have amazing talent, but we lack belief and creativity under pressure. One thing I can’t get my head around is why everyone is softly softly, when they make a mistake it’s a pat on the back? What happened to actually telling some players off after they make mistakes?! They are world class players, if they are not playing as good as they are..and the do better next time isn’t working..maybe they need to be shouted at..someone on the pitch giving them the eye for example letting players know - the repeat offenders that they are not playing to the standard and making the same mistakes over and over?

Case in point, singing after the French game Kyle Sinckler just doesn’t look like he can be bothered ... which is what he looks like on the pitch. He needs to be raging. Compare Kyle and Tiadgh Furlong at 60 mins in the Ireland game. Kyle just looks like he wants to be somewhere, anywhere, else.

Their not coached to deal with a game that their not having it all their own way Sinkler epitomizes this. That way when they lose they lose big. Its why Eddie Jones is a fundamentally flawed coach. he has it in their heads that they should always have it their own way in every game and they are never going to come across adversity.

Look I am an ardent English supporter but after every defeat we say the same things we’ve learnt from this we went weren’t there et cetera et cetera. Something has to change it’s no good being the world’s number one on the training pitch if we cannot transfer that to a match is there? I don’t know what needs to change because I haven’t a coaching degree but quite honestly listening to this lot of very highly paid athletes they still aren’t getting it. If it had been a normal year people would’ve been spending £120 a ticket to watch this shite and I think then we may have had more of a say. As I say I don’t know what it is but somebody somewhere must know what to do clearly there are half a dozen people that are playing on their reputation alone and not putting the effort in on the pitch, and there are others in the wings that Eddie is not even choosing to play Or even being in the squad. One thing I do observe is the fact that we do kick it away far too quickly and don’t allow the backs to do the job they are paid for, time and again we kick it 10 yards forward don’t collect the kick and the opponents have it and they are away and we are on the back foot.
