I take pride in the fact that I listen to these old time classic country songs, and only being 17 years old. I dont necessarily listen to the new stuff. I chose to grow up with these songs.

One of my favorite feel good songs by the Oak Ridge Boys. I must admit though. Joe Bonsall bears a striking resemblance to John Oates of Hall & Oates yall.

The Oak Ridge Boys released this in 1978. It was also released in 1978 by Dave & Sugar, but the title was changed to Baby Take Your Coat Off. It was written by Michael Clark, and a hit song for both groups.

@oakridgeboysrule Haha. That's Richard Sterban. He is without a doubt one of the greatest bass singers off all time, easily comparable with greats like George Younce and Tim Riley. (Who are all a step down from the greatest of all time, JD Sumner). But anyway, Richard's voice is a great deal lower now. Look up some of their live videos from recent years and try to sing along with it! Haha.

Why is everyone trying to make this great song about something dirty?? Every song is not dirty or about sex. This song is NOT about a whorehouse.

Cool time and great song. Rockin’ band. Joe’s pitch on his line is off. In the gospel days he woulda used a falsetto but he attempts to “gut it out”.
