If you have other filters installed for the micfrophone, should the Audio Monitor need to be first in the series?

It should be last (at the bottom) if you want the effects to apply to what is sent out.

thank you so much, i use it for discord and when the audio was going throu with the normal way, the delay was like 3s and it was driving me insane, and now its better

How do you install the cable???

tried both methods but no matter which I try it doesn't work. The first method allows for people in zoom to hear my OBS but I can't monitor any of the sound. the 2nd method does the exact opposite and I can hear everything but they can only hear my voice and no OBS sound.

Did you try adding the filter twice? One could output to Zoom, the other one to your headphones.

Thank you again! This is perfect for my setup. I set the Advanced - Monitoring Device to my headphones. (And thus any audio media to that for alerts and such) Perfect for me to send my mic through OBS with it's filters and then into Discord. I'll definitely be diving through more of you content and referring you to friends. :)

Thanks Markus, great video. I have setup my OBS delay as described. My delay is now gone, but the audio is now garbled. Crystal clear if I select the mic in zoom, garbled if I select the virtual cable. Any suggestions?

@ The audio is there, but the quality is garbled. If I pull the select the mic directly in zoom, crystal clear, if I select the Virtual cable, the delay is fixed, but the sound quality is bad (garbled). Not the echo. So I can choose between clear out of synch or crappy audio in synch. Any suggestions?

Thank you so much for this video. I do have one quick question though. My problem is that my video is slightly ahead of my audio (Mouth starts moving before you hear me in Zoom). Can you apply a negative value using this plugin? Or delay video by the same mechanism? Is there any plugin you recommend that can do this for video instead? Thanks again. Appreciate any help on the off chance you see this!

I haven't tried it, but I'm sure there's a video delay plugin- OBS has plugins for everything.

Dear Markus, When I use this plugin, my clients hear themselves in Zoom or in Google Meet. When I stop using the VB cable in my Mac and use the Streamer X directly, they doesn't hear themselves. Is there something else I need to do?

I haven't tested version 28 yet. But my understanding was that the new feature was the ability to capture audio from specific application, and not something about outputting it.

i have a problem with the vb cable monitoring, after about 10 minutes the delay between when i speak and when im heard increases exponentially to about 5-6 seconds delay. is there a fix?

I never experienced that problem. Are you low on resources like CPU or memiery?

The only worked solutions. For people who has Mac M1. Installing Monitor need to be done with version x86_64. even if you have M1 Cpu.
