I'm still getting issues with audio/video sync in the zoom meetings, could you do a video explaining how to fix?
@jamesaksel29884 жыл бұрын
Howdy friend! There are a couple of ways to fix that. Here are the ways that worked best for me: 1.) IF THE VIDEO IS AHEAD OF THE AUDIO, then go your webcam filters and add the effect "Render Delay." You can then adjust this accordingly to sync up with your audio. Keep in mind that it is in milliseconds, so if your audio and video sync is very far off, you may need to use decently large numbers. 2.) IF AUDIO IS AHEAD OF VIDEO, then go to your audio mixer. Once in your mixer, right click and go to "Advanced Audio Properties." From there, you can change the "Sync Offset" accordingly. Again, this is also in milliseconds, so if your video is really far behind, then this may need to be adjusted using rather large numbers. Note that this sync offset WILL NOT appear within OBS itself. You will only notice it in the output (that includes NDI Virtual, streaming, recording, etc.). 3.) One other thing you can do in order to prevent the off sync is to lower your webcam resolution. For me, the higher resolution I set my webcam, the longer that delay became. If the previous two options don't work out for you, then try lowering the resolution. Hopefully this helps! I know it's not as good as a video to follow step by step, but it's the best I could do. Let me know if you have any questions! Edit 1: Spelling

I love your tutorials. They're hands-down the most helpful and the easiest to implement. Does the NDI route remove any audio latency so that one can do a call in Zoom while using OBS? My hairline seems to have moved a lot to the rear trying to figure this out using the virtual cables. Using the advanced audio properties settings isn't working. Your simple, straightforward way to record Zoom from your other tutorial works perfectly.
@marks35764 жыл бұрын
UPDATE... its this only a desktop pc solution? I have an XPS laptop and perhaps is there an issue with the way laptops are made that I cant use this method? the NDI webcam app icon doesn't appear in the side bar. Also on a laptop, I can't capture a display in OBS.
@marks35764 жыл бұрын
UPDA TE 2. I backed up the truck and redid the installation process with the exception that I selected to install all of the NDI tools and not just the webcam tool. I just went from being the second coolest kid on my street to being the coolest. IT WORKS! No audio latency. Thank you so much!
