This thing’s a game-changer! The quality is unreal for such a compact webcam.

This has some pretty cool features for such an affordable webcam. Great video as usual, Kip.. My main comments/takeaways from your video are: - The sensor size seems *very* reasonable for such a relatively low-cost device which will usually be operating with at least some ambient lighting, if only that from a monitor. Most security cameras use around 1/3" CMOS and can really struggle in low-light unless you pay silly money for the models with larger sensor, so a 1/2" sensor on a consumer-level device is pretty amazing for a branded product at this price point. - Does the webcam have the ability to function as a standard USB video class device (i.e. plug it into a recent Windows or MacOS PC and it "just works", for people who don't want (or are unable to) install the manufacturers' software. No company is perfect, but I'm just not keen on needing to run un-vetted software on a PC from a relatively small vendor. - Audio quality was very nice, although if using it for things like Teams, I have started to prefer using an all-in-one videoconferencing speaker/mic combo, due to random weird echos from people who are using desktop speakers with a separate mic. - Having it look down is nice, but it's a shame there isn't a manual shutter. My company-provided Surface Laptop has black electrical tape over the camera, my basic Logitech webcam has an aftermarket shutter, and my Lenovo has a built-in sliding shutter. I just really want a physical lock-out. - The twitchy/hunting of the auto-focus looks like it could get annoying. They really need to add an option to adjust the sensitivity of that, or slow-down the changes, if possible. - The speed at which it switches between presets seems a little slow, but maybe that's a hardware limitation. I'm sure there are other video "genres" beyond walk-around tutorials where a zoomed-in angle could be useful, and I'm sure they're totally safe-for-work. - It's good that there is compensation for 50Hz vs 60Hz. I wonder how affected it would be by something like Philips Hue light bulbs, which have very high frequency PWM flicker.

Just quickly on your last point. All the lights in the video are Philips Hue, so seems to handle those well! 🙌🏻
