Vito had a really promising career. I remember my grandpa told me that this song held the number 1 spot on the charts the christmas year it was released. It's unfortunate that Lovejoy went down a darker path and lost most of his fans when he stopped singing the romantic tunes about cleveland steamers and went full-in on alabama hot pockets for his third album. Really derailed a star that could have been one of the greats.
