The bigger the tank, the bigger the fish will get. At one of my brothers’ restaurants, it had a small display pound behind the glass garden enclosure and we placed some tiny Walmart goldfish. They became average palm-sized fish within a month. The patrons love to watch them as they dine by the enclosure.

@@Mangolitethis is actually a backwards way to look at fish growth and an urban legend. Goldfish (and all fish) grow healthy if they have the room. They are stunted in size, lifespan, and health if they are kept in chronically stressful conditions, such as enclosures that are too small, too crowded, or inadequately clean (particularly from ammonia).
