@@Globalastral5 Going fast isn't fully what gets you a Jet ranking. There's doing tricks, spraying graffiti full (not quickspraying), the amount of cans I have left, and getting extra green arrows. The Taggers Tag levels do give you Jet ranks though.

How knocking down in this game works is super finicky. As long as you're not in your turning around state and not standing still, you should not get knocked over. Tapping on your stick whole waiting for the love shocker usually does the trick. To be honest Most of the community doesnt even understand the physics to the Taggers Tag levels at all

Someone explained me how the rank system works but I still don't understand it

There are many different factors that help with your ranking. 1. How quickly you finish a level (each second is 50pts?) 2. How many cans you have left once you finish a level (each can is 50pts?) 3. How much health you have at the end of a level (and if you have full health at the end, it adds 3000pts) 4. What character you choose. Depending on how high their "Graffiti" level is in the character select. Characters like Gum, Yo-Yo, Piranha, and Goji all have the best graffiti. 5. How many points you make from doing tricks/combos, and also doing graffiti. You can do more of the optional green graffiti to help, but you also don't want to drop your full graffiti combos. In any% runs, we do a method called "quickspraying", which is doing the first input of a spray and then quickly cancelling out of the prompt and redoing it again. (This gets rid of the animations you have to wait for, and makes things a lot easier for inputs as well). You can check out ANS (All Numbered Souls) runs for a better look at rankings since in those runs, since the objective of that run is to get every Jet Ranking, as well as every character, and graffiti soul. In that run, we use Gum for most of the levels to help with our score since she gives more points for each LARGE/ XL spray you complete. We also have to worry about time, how many cans, and how much health we finish with. So, there are a lot of backups to the run to help you require getting a Jet Ranking at the end. It's a really neat run!

@@CDbiggenI forgot to mention that you can do this without Joy2Key, it just requires you to go in, put in a directional input (Beat: Down, Tab: Up) and then exit out to rinse and repeat. It's boring and is quite hard to do fast. With mapping your buttons it has you mash the heck outta the buttons. Makes it a more interesting and cool to look at.

Word of warning: the player's voice comes in at 35:05 REALLY LOUD. Totally unnecessary to have such quiet game audio the whole video, then come blasting in at the end so loud it distorts. Downvoted.

Honestly I can't think of another way to save time. I've tried everything, and with everything we've got at the moment, we'd still need to save around 15s for a new timesave for a possible 33. Only thing I can think of is Combo Race Skip, yet I have no idea how and I don't think there's a way (that's faster anyways)... I do hope we can break it one day.

@@Brobey So by the end of WR your SOB is 34:28. That is without fast noise tanks and fast BTM. Together they save about 22 seconds. So we are down to 34:06. I believe your current SOB is 34:22, so that plus fast NT and BTM would be roughly 34:00. Then its just a matter of getting a few minor golds and viola... 33 achieved. Still, would be absolute insanity lol.
