Our brothers, Abakuria call it Busera or Busara (Northern Tanzania and Southern Kenya). I am a new subscriber. A student of history from Abagusii of Nyanza, Kenya. I was doing a research about our ancestor, Kintu today and I came across a tribe called Bahima. So, I have been searching for the language spoken by Bahima and I realized there is some connection to Banyankore. I recently heard that we are related to the Banyankore. That is how I ended up here. Thank you for sharing. We call porridge erongori, "fermented" millet or sorghum is knows as ememera.

Is that one cup of fermented millet or sorghum flour also called ekimera?

@@edithstein7888 Yes I think it’s called that in some languages

Ekimera I guess comes from the fact the fermented millet and sorghum started to germinate (mera).

Is Omugusha same as Entezo
@aineskitchen
@aineskitchen 4 ай бұрын
@@charitybyarugaba4136 yes. I would say it’s the same but a different brand. Omugusha is from sorghum while what they usually called entezo is fermented millet from Millet. Fermented sorghum would be called ‘entezo yo’mugusha’

Why do you add warm water
@aineskitchen
@aineskitchen 2 ай бұрын
@@kintujoelisaac9920 I boil the water to kill germs. I wait for it to cool before I use it to prevent something I don’t know how to say in English. It is called “okutukurirwa”

@aineskitchen 6 ай бұрын
@@denismuguluma7473 The taste after 24hrs is still sweet . But if you want it sweeter you can add honey or sugar if that’s what you prefer.

Hiii, do we add sugar? Or honey? Or is it naturally sweet?
@aineskitchen
@aineskitchen 5 ай бұрын
@@patiencemukiise2727 It is supposed to be taken without adding anything. It’s supposed to be naturally sweet, not like sugar sweet though. However, you can add a sweetener if that’s what you prefer.
