So beautiful to me. When painting those foam separations in the waves, there are technics to make them look authentic. With this epoxy resin technique, it takes everything to a completely whole new level. This is just so amazing and fulfilling to watch you do your magic, it’s also very incredible to se you sharing it with all of us. THANK YOU !

Hello Dianka, I'm really facinated about your resin picture about the waves splashing to the beach. I'm going to start resin art in the very next future. Did you mix anything into the white resin to get cells - such as silicon oil or alcohol? Or is it just pure resin and white color? Thanks and greetings from germany
@suras89843 жыл бұрын
You probably figured it out already since its been a year but you cant mix resin and oil...and theres certain pigments that get better cells. I tried with acrylic paint and it didnt work. I had to buy resin pigment.

Very beautiful. Could you say what type of white that you use? I’ve tried titanium white and also alcohol ink and wasn’t happy with either.

Do you apply just white acrylic for the waves or do you mix it with something first? You did a beautiful job!!💜

I think ist epoxy resin mixed with white pigment but idk I'm a noob I just saw those things today and my artistic side is born now I want to create those beauties.
@GK-zd5fu4 жыл бұрын
Hey normally avoid using acrylic paints with resin please.. because they are water based. Resin has its own pigments to be used with it :) Coming to the waves, just white pigments works amazing provided it is of a good brand 😊

Lovely piece! Was the first layer an acrylic pour or did you hand-painted it? And what did you spray the sand with??
@diankapours62145 жыл бұрын
The first layer was actually an ocean epoxy resin pour I did 2 years ago. I just used the same canvas. You can see the original on my Instagam, DiankaPours. The spray was a textured spray can I found at HomeDepot!

May I ask how do you prevent dust from sticking onto the resin?
@diankapours62144 жыл бұрын
Good question. I don't let anyone enter my studio, because if they move around, they could start stirring up dust. Sometimes I cover my artwork with a box, if the piece is small enough. Otherwise, there's not much I do!
@GK-zd5fu4 жыл бұрын
Living in India, it's a big issue for me, I use large size trays to cover my work and before working in that room I spray it with water all over the room.. it reduces the amount of dust

Carrie Padgett that’s not what this is it’s a demo and should include an explanation of products used etc. also people are “allowed” to post whatever they want within the limits of youtube. it doesn’t mean that everyone has to like them. as a creator myself i prefer when people tell me why they don’t like a video instead of just disliking the video. plus i’d rather get a comment that’s says “thumbs down” over an actual dislike on my video

Why you doing many layer
@diankapours62145 жыл бұрын
The layers add to the illusion of waves in an ocean. They also create depth because you can see a lot of detail from previous layers.
