The one handed footage was equally impressive Matt. Nice test!

Thanks for the review! I’ve been waiting to see something on the Aluula Flite since most have been done on the Roam. I’d really like to see a side by side comparison btwn an AF 12M and another brand 12M in light wind conditions. How low can Aluula go? Twin tip. The kite is expensive but if it can span a wind range of 2 kites sizes, it’s def worth it.

How does it compare to the other 13/14 meter 1 strut kites like the Mono / Boxer / Ultra?

Two years on, Quality/longevity wise, how is the Aluula compared to the Dacron/materials used on core kites ?

You can't test an OR Flite without boosting on it though, you gotta send it Matt, loads of hang time.

Nice video and cool riding very impressive.... one day I might be able to loop my kite and still go in the same direction 🤙🏻🌴😀😷

All is well, but what's the physics of more power for same size kite? That doesn't . It much sense to me. Did it maybe get windier?
@REALmattnuzzo4 жыл бұрын
No it was same wind conditions. I am not an engineer but my guess is that the LE is smaller and more efficient. That makes you ride faster and have more apparent wind which will make you feel more powered in the same conditions.

Matt I'm amazed by the video one hand and talking to the camara. I want to see comparative between a foil kite vs aluula in the same size for light wind kiting.

Matt what psi did you pump the Aluula?
@REALmattnuzzo4 жыл бұрын
I normally pump kites to the 9psi range.

When are you getting your full production shipments in, i.e. the 12, 14.5, and 17m Flite? Would love to see how low (and high) of winds the 17m Flite performs in.
@mrmonkeboy4 жыл бұрын
I imagine the 17m is for fat guys (and gals) rather than for lighter wind than 10mph.
@REALmattnuzzo4 жыл бұрын
We are due to start seeing these trickle in starting the end of the month. Probably won’t have demos of the 12 and 17m for a bit though. As far as the wind range on the 17m, it will really depend on the skill of the rider and type of board. My guess is that it will work in 5-20 mph of wind. Sub 10 will take some skill and a foil but it is possible with the Aluula kite since it stays in the sky.

@@REALmattnuzzo , after watching your review of the 10m Ozone Alpha v1 in 5-10 mph (impressive), it seems that the Alpha would be a better kite for foiling in light winds. Or the Aluula Roam as well. Nice review, Matt! I bought my first kite (2010 Slingshot 13m Octane) over the phone from you after watching your Zero to Hero vid (about 20 times) in 2009! You answered the phone in winter (Dec) and I'm like, I know this voice. Time flies! Still wanting to come visit REAL!

We're you ever able to get a 17m to test? I'm between getting a 14.5 and 17m ... I'm 160lbs and in louisiana on lake pontchartrain suggestion?
@REALWatersports3 жыл бұрын
That is tough to say not knowing that local spot too well or what you've got in your quiver already. 17m is a very low wind kite, so if you aren't expecting much then that is a safer play, unless of course you already have a 17 and need something smaller. If you want a bit more range, the 14.5 would be the way to go, as you saw in the review it can still handle really low wind as well. But again, it depends on your spot/ quiver a bit. Feel free to give us a call or email at the shop with more detail and we would be happy to help
