I own an Ocelot Pro. But I wouldn't have any issues trading it in for a Kommoda. Both are great e-bikes!

I’ve had great customer service with my Kommoda. They do have horror stories on one of the bigger bikes, where the frame is breaking, but they are making it right. I remember your father riding all those bikes. I was thrilled when he picked the Kommoda! When I bought mine, batteries were half off, so I bought one. I’m sure glad I did!! I’m glad your dad is back for the summer! I had to choose over these two bikes. I went for the rear suspension Kommoda. It still has great reviews on all YT channel reviewers!

The most important thing is the throttle the magic cycle can go from 0 to 20 in any gear any power level thats fun my daughter bought the Vitalan u7 and we returned it because the speed is tied to the pedal assist level it well sucks this is very important to know . So glad you covered that

I've been watching you doing research for an ebike, your Dad sold me on the Kommoda last video and I pulled the trigger yesterday. I'm the same vintage as Citizen Dad, and am really happy he didn't pick the other bike.

CitizenCycle, re: Cyrusher Kommoda if I am not mistaken, the Kommoda's LCD controller is the KT-LCD8H. The P and C configs are equivalent to the KT-LCD3, difference is LCD8H is color, LCD3 is B/W. Changing the C4 setting to 3 (instead of Cyrusher's recommended default at 0) will allow you to throttle at full speed on demand regardless of the PAS level. I changed the C4 setting on my Cyrusher XF800; tested and I can now throttle at full speed, even if the PAS is at 0. Also note, the Wired Freedom/Cruiser bike uses the KT-LCD8H; change C4 to 3 (instead of Wired's recommended default at 0) to allow Wired e-bikes to throttle at top speed regardless of PAS. MrMtr999 on KZbin took my advice to change C4 setting to 3. kzbin.info/www/bejne/j4fJi2Z9rdulp6c (5:37 mark)

@CitizenCycle925 PLEASE try this setting change @kevinmah8730 commented for the Kommoda! Very curious to see if it changes the speed controlling ability and your thoughts on it in a video 😎👍 I wouldn't want a ebike that wont allow full throttle in any PAS level, thats ridiculous and dangerous to have push a bunch of buttons to escape from a possible accident!

The larger battery won out in my battle between these two. Absolutely love my Ocelot Pro and do not regret going with the great range of the 20 amp battery on the Ocelot Pro. This is my 5th ebike and by far the most enjoyable for me.

I love ❤️ my ocelot pro! I had my eye on the cyrusher and also the meebike but I’m so happy for my choice (the bigger battery and the adjustable seat height)

Citizen Junior, I bought the same replacement shock as you did, for the Kommoda. I thought your original was too stiff. Can I adjust the new one to make it softer than the original? My original doesn’t move at all. I’d be willing to buy your original shock from you. Would you consider selling it? I need a softer shock. 😉

I’ve had radrovers for years. I decided to switch it up and purchased the ocelot pro. What I found is that the rad controller is much smoother than the ocelot. I’m not share if I’ve got a bad controller or if all the ocelot controllers are just a lower quality resulting in a jerky ride . That said, the ocelot is powerful and fast. If it runs trouble free for five years I’ll be praising it.

O the pain I would love a bike like the komodo. But to be perfect it would have to have a torque sensor at least 20amp hour battery trigger shifter and hydrologic brakes but that bike isn't out any where's on the market. Not even fabulous bike have exactly what I want and iam looking to buy a new bike in spring but disappointed by everything iam finding 😕

Cyrusher seems to be having rear frame cracking issues near the axle. Have you seen that on any Cyrusher models?

Do you think the Deer Mini rear shock will be able to be upgraded? I can't see enough of it to tell if it's a std rear suspension shock that can be easily swapped out or not.

The Kommoda has the rear suspension, but Magicycle customer service is very very good, Cyrusher has many, many horror stories..I love some Cyrusher bikes, but I wouldn't gamble, I'd take the Magicycle every time...
