One of my viewers from Taiwan, a mom at my son's kindergarten, asked me the easiest way to make Tamagoyaki. She said she wants to make non-brown, easy yet fluffy Tamagoyaki. I thought everyone already knows this idea. I make this Tamagoyaki in busy morning. No-Fail!

Thank you for the view of the amount of egg you put in the pan. I've been adding a little too much, just enough that it is sloppy. The tip of wrapping it was wonderful! I have not seen that tip anywhere! All the videos I watch have left out those tips. Thank you, thank you! In America I have not watched anyone make it. This makes a big difference. The family enjoys them, even if they are sloppy. Lol. They never wait for it to cool. If I wrap it they will have to wait. Ha ha ha

Oooo yes. Love making tamagoyaki! Though, I use soy sauce instead of dashi, and a round pan. They're still so quick and delicious!

I wanted to ask you if you had any recommendations for camping recipes? I am writing camping notebook, of things that I would like to make over the summer while camping and I would really like to, include some of your recipes. I’ve been watching since i think 2009 or 2010. I’ve made many recipes for my family and daughter who’s now 12. I’m really happy to see you are still making content and, I hope someday if I ever am able to visit Japan and, buy a home for my family I will include many of your recipes there too. They have been a blessing to us and have brought us closer over our shared love of Japan and, Japanese culture.

I recently got into doing tamagoyaki again in the mornings, so it's fun to see you upload this 😂 though I do get a bit annoyed with having to fold extra since I have a round frying pan. I can't find a square one to buy. It's a minor inconvenience, since it's only one extra step, but when I'm tired it gets to me 🤣

I hadn't thought to roll it in plastic wrap to keep its shape :0c My previous attempt at tamagoyaki ended with it unraveling ^^; so this is helpful, thanks for this video!

can we change the dashi with chicken broth or instant chicken broth ?
@SuperFunJess2 жыл бұрын
Dashi is a fishy flavor, you can make your eggs taste however you want, I'm sure those would be good, too
@bhirawamaylana4662 жыл бұрын
@@SuperFunJess that why I ask, no offense here but in my place to get something fishy flavor is hard but I can get something like Beef or Chicken broth more easily, I think beef is to heavy and will overpowered eggs taste so I ask will chicken broth or instant chicken broth can be substitute ?

That looks so good I’m so excited this is like literally my favorite kind of sushi when I go to rotary sushi bars 🥲 I can’t wait to make it!

Actually that is 4 ingredients. Isn't water an ingredient too as well as cooking oil when used in recipes? I've made Tamagoyaki like that even using plastic wrap and a bamboo mat to make it nice and oval shaped. I bought me an iron Tamagoyaki Pan because I didn't like that cheap one I've been using.
