Bluefor having insane fox 3 slingers at 12.0 13.0 is just....was trying to spade my Su25SM3 but harriers and F14s spamming ARHs just make impossible to fly...but god forbids if we got Mig31 with R33s at those same brs

I've been playing J8B, I really like it, it pulls so hard and and with so much thrust, and it did probably doesn't need to be brought up in BR. If it had better radar maybe (I think irl it had pd) but the radar is just not good enough and at least I rely so much on the aspides. It's really strong in downtier where F4C and F5 just can't touch you and playable into F4S because you have so much better turn than it. Into 12.7 though? This thing can't compete with that tier.

All the mig21 rip at 1365 they accelerate well but they get dusted by most of the things they face in terms of top speed because they rip comparatively slowly

The MiG-23M/MF have R-23s and R-60Ms yes, but the main problem other than the RWR and countermeasures is the radar, because the ML series at least has ACM mode, but the M series do not have ACM so you have to constantly keep switching targets and lock them and its much harder to use in dogfights.

-Japanese phantoms dont have PD (other then ej kai) -J8B doesnt have an PD radar -they are moving Kurnass down, not the kurnass 2000. first one is an f4e with aim9g/aim7e2 and non pd radar

They are "fixing" this "compression" problem forever now... Making battle ratings in 0.1 increments is going to break the universe I guess, it's just too much, our heads will explode. We all kind of agreed on this 0.3 tool of balancing and we can't see further than that. We're all dumb af Panicking once or twice a year over "unfair" motivate us.

I'm very glad they are mostly not touching any WW2 stuff, possibly because they're happy with how the balance is down there (it's OK but not great) or they're scared they will screw it up. TBH I would prefer if they made BR spreads thinner so you get a maximum of 0.5 drift, with fewer data points involved during engagements it would be easier to identify overperformers without data being skewed by dunking on just straight up inferior planes. And as usual, devs ignore the top 20% and bottom 20% of players entirely which leads them to decisions like moving that F4U down despite it having such a more powerful engine than anything else around it which is quite bold of them if I say so myself

@@Pekopekope There is some truth to that. But also there is a lot of blatantly silly WW2 BR decisions. For instance the P-47 D-30 China/Italy are at 3.7BR while the American P-47 D-28 is 4.3BR. Or things like J2M2 are at 3.7BR because Gaijin basically forgot that the plane exists. Also P-39N at 3.0 and fighting biplanes.

@@squishface80085 Gaijin stealth nerfs them when they do that. They nerfed the wing lift coefficient, elevator effectiveness, etc. A lot of the props down there got balanced fatally

Also why british phantoms remain at 11.3? They have way more powerful engines and particularly Phantom F.G.R. 2 has about 500kg less weight than F-4E (!) and most important, they both have 90km PD radar and Skyflashes, when american ones only get to use PD at 12.0. Not to mention, but there's also a pretty big generational gap of RWRs between 11.3 and 12.0. This is crazy to me.

When using a hotas, how do you allow your throttle to use the different afterburner stages, I can only go 100% or 110... Cant find anything on the forums

I just have it set to throttle axis and no non-linearity. But I have stand-alone throttle so if you have stick with little flapper on the back...then you might have to adjust the non-linearity curve and the multiplier.

F-4E EJ ADWT is just as good as german F-4F on 10.7. Only difference is standard AIM-7E which with that radar is usable only to kill high alt zoombers

There is a lot of skill issue in sim. Its plenty of newbies. Mig 23 isnt bad plane you only have to know how to use it. I tired of people crying about it, yes i know mirage is better but you still can fuck them all. Every match i take with my mld its garantue of detroy entire lobby so easily because majority of people with superior aircrafts dont have much experience
